I wouldn't rate this as a four star hotel, compared to other four stars I've stayed in. The room decor is tired and there's limited extras in the room, eg no biscuits or sundries you sometimes get. My room was over the boiler and although I slept well (with ear plugs which I always take) the vibrations kept me awake on my second night. However, this is the best hotel I've stayed in Peterborough. The downstairs is comfortable and characterful. The staff are excellent and that makes up for a lot. The breakfast was pleasant but could be improved.

All staff very friendly . Nice clean room - I looked at all the usual missed bits . The room was really hot , a team member did try and turn the radiator off for me but it didn’t work unfortunately. I could open the window and there was a fan . I would certainly stay again .

The Bull is in a great location for Peterborough city centre. Close to shops, restaurants and the cathedral. The staff were friendly and professional. The bar was nice, a good selection of drinks. They were kind enough to make us sandwiches well after midnight. Unfortunately the rooms are quite tired, looking quite grubby. The car park was also partially flooded.

The room was very clean. There wasnt a lock on the bathroom door which didn't bother us but might not be the same for someone else staying in our room. The staff were amazing as always. This is our third time staying here and every time we've had a lovely stay, lovely food and always felt so welcoming

Late decision to stay in Peterborough after train problems/engineering etc. Good central location and only a 5 minute walk from train station. Nice comfy room and bed. And it was exactly what I was looking for. Very good value too

The exterior and foyer of the hotel look great. The rooms are ok, but virtually no soundproofing. Window wouldn’t shut properly. There was a large military party in the hotel. My corridor only had 8 rooms, I was the only room not part of the military group. I was woken up at 4:30am by drunk men shouting outside my door. This went on for half an hour. I told reception in the morning. They didn’t seem to care. As a woman travelling on my own, having a large group of drunk men shouting in the corridor outside my room was very unsettling. I’m not sure why they allocated me a room with that lot.
