Barrio de la Villa accommodation with pool

Nice facility, friendly reception staff . Restaurant on the property. Centrally located.

This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!

We specifically wanted somewhere quiet and in the hills - this was perfect. Spent many days lounging by the pool in the sun - relaxing and exactly what we wanted. Only comment would be the grape vines attract a lot of wasps. Didn’t bother me, but my youngest nephew was a bit on edge by them, so worth knowing if you have serious reaction. But very nice peaceful stay.

The beds were uncomfortable and the wife was almost hurt when she sat up and the bed tilted. The towels were like sandpaper. We had to phone someone to get in, who didnt speak anu english which I know isnt expected in their own country. Fortunately I managed. Others might not. Location was the best part of the visit.

A wonderful property, perfect host with great communication So cozy in the evenings, and a picturesque location amongst the olive groves Be aware it's a fair drive to get anywhere through twisty, tight roads - spectacular, but not for the faint hearted!

It was once a monastery and still feels like one. Personally we liked it but it was a bit heavy on the religious iconography. Great basic place to be in the middle of the old town.
