The Los Angeles flat is located in the best neighbourhood of El Raval district, in Carrer del Pintor Fortuny right to the Ramblas, it`s the favourite of our guests!. With 120 sq mt2 available, the modern yet comfortable design in this flat along with the historic feel of the building will offer any and all a fabulous holiday.

Any photos capture the beauty of the intricate wood panelling on the ceiling, along with the fully restored wood framing around the doorways. The exceptional art deco flooring and lovely array of colouring on both the hanging prints and furniture along with the natural light from the street make this flat feel like home to those visiting Barcelona.

The modern kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, and ample dining area are spacious enough to cook and serve a grand feast for all. Multiple guests will enjoy the space and privacy of a full bathroom with a stall shower, tub and toilet. For added convenience there is an additional toilet. Two lovely and decorative bedrooms with full beds offer cosy sleeping quarters for up to four people. Should you have more guests in your pack, there is a lounge space off of the main living area that can be easily converted into a bedroom with a double sofa bed.

This quiet and respectful building, located in the old city, is the perfect place for those who wish to enjoy their holiday in a serene manner. For the same we rent only at one Homeaway meber over 30 years old.

We have just returned home from a wonderful stay in Barcelona and this beautiful apartment.Carlos, the host, was very helpful prior to our arrival. He met us at the apartment and went through everything and the local amenities and was at hand should we have need to call him (which we didn't as everything was perfect).The apartment was full of character which we love. Yet, it still had all the modern equipment to make our stay comfortable.Lovely and spacious which we always enjoy.It is situated very close to local shops, restaurants and the metro, which we used on several occasions, also the local buses, plus quite close to the hop on hop off bus stop should you wish to take the tour.We stayed for just under a week, but there is still so much to see and we plan to return one day and we will definitely stay at this apartment if it is available.Thank you Carlos for everything and making our trip a memorable one.

The location was outstanding, the neighborhood has restaurants and stores, and is walking distance to La Rambla and more. And there are several English speaking channels available on the TV. I wish that they had provided drinking water in a 5 gallon jug, and not been so strict about the towels. Also, there is a surcharge if you do not arrive within a small window of "normal time". The charge is for a leasing agent to break away and let you in at late or early times! We would definitly stay here again.

This apartment's best feature is its perfect and safe location. It’s incredibly close to the main drag, making everything accessible on foot. We were especially grateful that the elevator worked, which was a huge help for luggage since the unit is on the top floor.The apartment itself is very large and boasts an updated, modern kitchen. The building is wonderfully old, which adds a lot of character and charm to the stay.The only drawbacks centered around arrival. While the process was ultimately smooth, it started awkwardly when the host offered an earlier check-in for a fee. This was followed by the host mistakenly trying to charge us an incorrect amount for the city tax. Though the host apologized and rectified the tax error, it wasn't the welcoming start we hoped for after a long flight.Inside the apartment, a little TLC and some updated furniture could truly transform the space. It has excellent bones and location; modernizing the furnishings would make it a perfect five-star rental. Overall, we recommend this property for its size and location, provided you are prepared for a charming, slightly older space.

This apartment is situated in the heart of what could be the best-kept secret of desirable areas. It's surprisingly quiet, and only blocks from the busiest areas. During our nearly three-week stay, every day we fell more deeply in love with this flat. The windows, view, appliances, bathrooms, and laundry were all perfect for our needs. My only hesitation would be that others will love it as much and book it up, else we'll be back over and over!
We enjoyed having the cafe below.
The tiled entrance was beautiful, well-lit, and offered a warm welcome when returning to the flat.
The fourth-floor, corner view was breathtaking from both vantage points.
The kitchen has everything you need. The hidden dishwasher and fridge were great.

This property was very nice and very conveniently located. We were told by a couple locals that deeper into the El Reval neighborhood wasn’t a great part of town but this property was on the edge and felt safe. We walked 15-17 miles a day as well as taking the incredibly easy to use subway system when something was too far to walk. It was easy to get to anywhere you wanted to go from this apartment. Super close to the waterfront and beach area as well as the Gothic area, and El Born area which was our favorite area. Barcelona is a beautiful city with amazing food!

Carlos was incredibly responsive! The apartment was well equipped with a gourmet kitchen and plenty of space. Located perfectly to walk to Las Ramblas, Boqueria Market and minutes drive to Sagrada Família. There are plenty of small markets within minutes for provisions. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Historic Apartment

The apartment was beautiful. It was so hot that it was a challenge to enjoy though. There was heatwave while we were in Barcelona, and there were only fans, no air conditioning. We had to have the windows open at night and there is a lot of street noise. There is a restaurant below the apartment that is open until very late, and trash trucks, street sweepers and sidewalk cleaners all during the night. The location was walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, and there was a market across the street. Also it was walking distance to Las Ramblas. If we had visited during cooler months, it would have been a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Carlos was a great host. This is good for two couple’s. I had a room to myself and my day tee in law and husband stayed in the other room. Easy to share a bathroom for showers and the 2nd half bath was also helpful. Do stay here if you get the chance. Very close to everything you would like to see. Easy to catch a taxi and arrive by taxi. Restaurants close by are very good too.

Loved our time here. Fourth floor apartment with elevator and stairs. Easy walk to the beach, La Boqueria Market and hop on bus stop. Close to coffee and grocery shops. Comfy beds including the pull out bed. Good shower pressure. Added bonus - most rooms had an adapter with USB/C outlets.

Great apartment in great location

The apartment is as it looks in the photos, although the photos don't show the amazing ceilings and cornices in each room, it must have been some place back in its day.It it a large apartment with a couple of small balconies, two toilets and a large shower.It is in a busy area of Barcelona, but once you shut the shutters it is very quiet.The only downside for us was the check in. There were some changes in who would meet us at the apartment to check in, and the check in was less than smooth. We suspect that this was a one-off and not the norm.Despite the check in, we really enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Lovely place in a great area.

The apartment is in a great location and is quite nice. Beds are comfy and it is quite charming. There is some street noise but think that is just Barcelona. The owner was quite helpful throughout the process.

Just wonderful!

The quaint and historic apartment is beautiful with its tiled floors and decorated ceilings. My husband and I had everything we needed for our stay and loved the central location. We decided not to rent a car but hiked all over Barcelona. We visited the Ramblas, walked Barri Gotic, saw the Sagrada Familia, we even walked all the way to Park Güell and the harbor area. Carlos was very welcoming and helpful, gave us tips for cafes, restaurants and shopping. We loved it and will be back!
