Overall the hotel was great. You really cant beat the price for the central location on Passeig de Gracia. Hotel was very clean and the room was tidy and spacious enough for 2 ppl. Shower was nice and big. The happy hour nightly was also a nice touch and the water bottles. A few comments if the hotel wanted to reach “luxury” would be to give us a new bar of soap when cleaning the room cause you just keep the original one they give you and it becomes quite small. Also the bed and pillows were not very comfortable, but liveable for us for only 2 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful, thanks!

Buyer beware

Pretty disappointed in this hotel for what we paid. Because of the weekend we paid 500euros a night with all the fees and this hotel is definitely only a two star as rated. We decided to book it because of the reviews and the only thing I would give it a high rating for is location as it's very central. We got one of the nicer rooms and there was no phone or water in the room. I called the front desk and was told 'because that room doesn't have a phone. Yes- but why I responded and was told that it wasn't functioning. The room was also on the main road so you could hear a lot of noise during the evening. The next morning I asked to talk to the manager because I wanted to at least change rooms and was told they would give me a call. Surprise surprise no call with the two nights I was there although I was assure the manager would give me a call. Besides that - breakfast was not included and the rooms and hotel are really not that nice. The hallways are incredibly dark even during the day bc of no windows, the rooms are older, there's no real closet only a makeshift corner with a hanging area. This place was incredibly disappointing especially for the price and I'm really not understanding the good reviews. The fact there was not even a courtesy call by one of the employees was very disappointing but they did get me a phone for the room the next day.

Wow what a beautiful and great hotel. The terrace lounge was great too. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was nice too. The location was perfect (a block and a half from Casa Ballroom!) and so close to bus and train options to any place in the city. Barca is a wonderful place!

We loved the location! In the heart of high-end shopping, Gaudi architecture, lots of small cafes, bakeries, as well as Michelin starred restaurants within easy walking distance. The Hotel is small, private with friendly staff, very accommodating. Comfortable room with a great shower/water pressure. We wouldn't look anywhere else for our next visit.

Great Location, Comfortable Stay, and Excellent Se

We stayed one night at Hotel Praktik Essens to take advantage of its excellent location, just a short walk from Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà. The hotel is also conveniently close to El Corte Inglés, H&M, several restaurants, and a pharmacy. The service was excellent, with staff being professional and attentive. While we didn’t have time to explore any dining or room service options, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and maintained a pleasant temperature. Despite the central location, noise was minimal, allowing for a restful night. A minor issue required fresh sheets, and the staff was incredibly understanding, resolving everything quickly and efficiently. Overall, the price was reasonable for the quality and location. Would definitely consider staying again.
