Amazing service. The hotel room was spacious. The satellite TV didn’t work too well, so I’d suggest bringing downloaded tv/movies to cast to the TV.

Lovely Botique Hotel. Very well presented lobby and sitting area, you felt like you could sit in and relax. The breakfast was very good, nice selection. Hotel clean, felt safe, walkable to local restaurants and the Metro. Staff friendly. Recommend a stay here.

Located in a quiet neighborhood that is minutes away from the metro system. The main attractions are only several metro stations away. We had a big bed, feels like king size, that took up most of the room. There were lots of electrical outlets available on both side of bed and around the room. The breakfast buffet is great with a good selection and variety.

The hotel was very nicely presented, immaculately clean and very chic. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. The hotel definitely deserves more than the two stars it apparently currently holds. A self service "honesty bar" was a nice touch and demonstrated the quality of the place. Although it is not located in the centre of the old city it is possible to walk into town and there are plenty of local options for food including the carrera blai which is the primary place in Barcelona for "pincho" bars which are definitely worth trying. One negative, rooms on the front of the hotel do suffer from some street noise so if possible try to avoid one of these!

My partner and I arrived early at the hotel around 11am, ahead of the standard check-in time. This was due to British Airways’ flight schedule, which unfortunately left us with a bit of a wait. We spent about two hours in the lobby before the front desk kindly let us check in at 1pm—an hour earlier than expected—which we really appreciated, especially after a long and tiring journey. At check-in, we were informed that the building's water supply was temporarily shut off for maintenance. Due to a bit of a language barrier, I didn’t fully grasp the situation at the time. We headed to our room, tried to take a shower and quickly realised what they meant—no running water at all. We were told the water would be back on by 6pm. When that time came and went, we called down to check and were told there was still a delay. By then, the experience was definitely leaving a bit of a sour taste. We ended up going to sleep unshowered, hoping things would be sorted when we woke up. At 9pm, we checked again—good news, the water was back! Bad news, it was freezing cold. So, there we were, in a premier room, both braving icy showers. I tried to laugh through it, giving myself pep talks mid-shower while my partner giggled at my reactions—definitely not ideal, but we managed to find some humour in it. Noemi Benito the manager on site was helpful. I had an issue with the air conditioning and she provided us with a fan. Also gifted us chocolates as a sorry for the inconveniences.
