Very happy with the hostel/motel. It surpassed my expectations. They were in the middle of a name change, everything is newly renovated. It gives you the feel of a college dorm on the main floor. Couches, common areas, kitchen area. The staff is AMAZING, friendly, competent, on point with everything you need. The pricing was extremely reasonable for the area. The rooms were great. Our group took a full room with 4 beds and a private bathroom. It was spacious and had patio!! Great place to stay in a city like Barcelona. 5 stars, I would come back any time.

Bunk beds have no lights. The space between bunk beds is at around 24 inches. Nobody could sit straight. Staff is slow to check you in. They sell more than they can take care of. There is no kitchen to cook, no microwave, no dishes, no refrigerator.

This is a very trendy hostel but still a hostel, shared co-ed bathroom and everything, but it's comfortable within walking distance from all the touristic areas and close to a metro station that will take you to and from the main train station... Great place to stay for young people!

I got a private room and it was alright! The lock on the communal bathroom door was broken and I asked about it but it didn’t get fixed. The location is great and I loved the rooftop. I thought the private room was overpriced for what you’re getting but from what people told me this is normal for Barcelona. Cleanliness was good for a hostel! Near to everything

Disgusting Bunk Beds

Good for the price and good location but the bunk beds are too low and you cant even fully sit down when you're at the bottom of the bed. Not even have a chair to sit down coz you cant really sit properly on bed and me and my children's head always hit the top of the bed. Bunk bed is okay but at least you could have been able to sit down properly.

The hostel has a different name and the dorm room didn’t look like on the picture. No curtains like on the pictures. No toilet on the same level as my room, it was out of service. No plug to charge my phone at my bed. Really basic hostel.

Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the local area. Had to do an early check in with no notice and they were accommodating and flexible. Cleanliness and amenities are better than that of a typical hostel.

Its in an ideal location for the centre, close to metro lincs. Theres a lot of noise at night outside on the street. I was in a room for 6 women and it was very safe, I was solo travelling and even went out with 2 of the girls i met who were from Germany! There are lockers but you need your own padlock. The only possible issue was the toilet was accessible from the corridor and the lock from the inside was falling off :( Our balcony door was broken one day and once reported it was fixed by the next morning! Very good service!

Party place!!

I booked a private room with private bathroom on the understanding that this would be no frills but just a clean base for us to explore Barcelona. Location is perfect and right in the heart of La Rambla but this is where the good bits stop! We checked in and were told that towels are not included in the room price. I showed my booking confirmation which stated differently and I was told that the booking confirmation was incorrect. I was however given towels and not charged as it was not my error. The reception area is like a youth club, pool tables and youths sitting around drunk and playing drinking games. We quickly left to go to our room! When we got to the room it was very basic! 2 single beds, a sink in the bedroom and a separate wetroom with toilet. The beds had some sort of plastic mattress protector and they were very uncomfortable. However, this was not the worst thing in the world so we settled down for sleep.....yep that was not happening. There was people screaming, shouting, singing, falling over right outside our door and also in the street outside (no double glazing at this place) this went on until after 4am both nights (Monday and Tuesday) we had no sleep at all other than when we used earplugs to drown out a little of the noise. When we checked out we asked if we could leave our bags to be told there is also a charge to this (1 euro per hour) By this time we just wanted to go and never return!!
