The staff was kind and helpful. Hotel is in a good location. Centrally located. Great cafes nearby. Easily accessible from major attractions. Couple cons: The hotel overall could benefit from a good cleaning. The hallway to our room was in desperate need of a good vacuum. We stayed for 3-nights and it was not vacuumed once in that time frame. The lobby smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. We didn’t eat at the restaurant because it was directly adjacent to the lobby, so that smelled like cigarette smoke too.

The staff were very kind and friendly. But the room cleanliness was okay. Our first room that was provided smelled like cigarettes and it’s a smoke free hotel and the room was clearly not properly cleaned with food on the chairs and dust on the glasses and kettle like it had not been washed. The mirrors were all dirty as well with splatters. They were kind enough to switch us rooms. But I wouldn’t rate this 4 stars. We’ve been to several 4 stars in Spain along the coast and this was not comparable. The floor panels were moving with holes and damaged. The walls were scuffed both in the hallways and rooms with marks dents in the wall. Both rooms and floors that we saw were similar in damage. They should highly renovate to up keep with a 4 star rating. I would not go back as I was not sure of the cleanliness of the rooms.

We had some issue with the room we first got; however it was addressed right away. The staff is courteous and helpful. The amenities are great. It is at a great location walkable to La Rambla. No other issues during our stay.

When we checked into our room- the toilet wasn’t flushing properly - a SURPRISE was left in our toilet we couldn’t flush! A room upgrade was given but we had to wait hours for the new room- the rooftop pool was amazing
