Room was basic in a typical old european building. The building is NOT the pictured 4 CATS! It is NOT no smoking...but price and location ruled the day. Traveling with 2 college kids, the 4 twin beds worked great.

Room has A/C, there is a lift, no keys o ly a code to get in building and room. Shopping was good, supermarket near by. Underground transportatio new by and taxis close by the property.

Too expensive for the level. This is more like a huge apartment converted into multiple rooms on one floor. Rooms are decent however, and can have an okay view. Common area is okay, the building this is in and the small elevator to get to the right floor are run down and in bad shape. The main photo here and the "exterior" shots are none of the hotel, so this feels a bit misleading.

After we are from the US and used to having a lot more space in privacy and it was a much older building, but a quiet little gem. Initially, we were shocked, but overall, we were so grateful for the experience. This staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the room was nice and quiet, even though it was on the main street and very easy to get to everything. This is a definite little hidden gem.

This is not a hotel because doesn't have the hotel accommodations. I don't recommend for elderly or families because it's a little bit tricky to get into your room. Also, the rooms are very small, isn't for big people, bathrooms are smalls. The cleaning is good.

There was this unpleasant sewage like odor in the hotel and in my room that I couldn’t wait to leave Barcelona. Also the fact that half of my stay the elevator wasn’t working and going up those flight of stairs was not easy.

I’d like to preface this review by saying that this booking was not our first choice and we only stayed here because our original listing canceled on us same day. However, it doesn’t change the fact we had a terrible experience here. When we arrived the proprietor acted like we were doing him a favor by staying there, didn’t make eye contact while speaking with me, and was very dismissive. The room was a shambles. Dirty, paint peeling, etc. The location was good as it was a block from the metro station and a gothic quarter. Near the end of our stay here, during one the housekeeping visits, someone splashed bleach onto my daughter’s dress and ruined it. I called the manager immediately and he said he would come look at it and never did. My wife also called him on the call box and he told her the same thing. It was a €20 dress and that’s all we were asking to be reimbursed. We never saw him again and I messaged him several times and he keeps asking me for my credit number to put the money back on the card. I honestly don’t feel comfortable giving that information out to him. So if anyone reads this don’t give these people your business if you can stay anywhere else.

The property was good, check-in was a little confusing, since there was no one in the reception and it was done through a camera and the guy told us the code to our room there, and it could be heard by anyone. The receptionist was somehow a little unpolite. The room was clean and it had AC.
