The apartment was conveniently located near a local market, restaurants, and subway. Negatives: cleanliness of shower, previous guest food in freezer, kitchen appliances dirty. The issues we mainly had were with the owners. When we arrived, they were gracious enough to allow us to place our bags in the apartment while they cleaned. The attendant showed us which key went to which door but, not how to use the key. It is a skeleton key and the door is hard open. It took us a long time standing in the hallway and my friend reaching out to the owners. The gentleman was less than friendly. We then had no hot water, WiFi, or tv signal. We had to be at a ticketed tour at 9am. We contacted the host and clearly stated that we had headed out for the day but, had no hot water or WiFi signal. He told us we just didn’t know how to work the water and that we could boil water on the stove. We had taken ice cold showers. He told us that you had to wait 20 minutes between showers. No big deal but, we never had any hot water. He told us that if he sent someone out there to fix it and it wasn’t broken we had to pay the bill. It was a breaker not our incompetence. The host called my friend yelling at her for leaving the apartment while he sent a technician. He was so mean and awful that my friend was in tears. It ruined her whole day. He called us horrible tenants. We never had WiFi and had to pay extra fees but, it was better than being verbally abused by the host. Horrible experience, very rude
