I absolutely loved the renovated cottage number 7 I stayed in! The shower was amazing and the private hot tub on the back deck was so relaxing! The guy at the front desk was very pleasant as well…..I will definitely stay again next year :)

Dog friendly cabins near Bar Harbor

A very dog friendly venue, which was a key consideration in my selection. The cabins are fine. While near a main road road (Rt 3), the traffic noise was not bad. The kitchen/dining area was pretty small, but fine for simple food prep. There were outdoor grills and tables ( which we didn’t use). As a base to go to the park and into Bar Harbor for meals, it worked out well. There was space to walk the dog around near the cabins under the trees, on the grass and in some small wooded areas. The property is undergoing some upgrades ( as of Sept 2025).

Cute, clean cabin with extra linens and blankets. Very clean kitchen and bathroom. The only downside is the driveway is rough as others have mentioned, and our cabin was a little hard to park by due to a large tree stump. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pricing and location were excellent.

Very nostalgic. The cabins reminded me of my youth in the 70's and my travels back then. The cabin we were in leaned to one side. Issues with TV and remote. Overall was nice except for the nonstop rain (not their fault). We would probably go back.

Older, but well kept cabins. Newly renovated bathroom was nice. Kitchen was small. Close to the main road into Bar Harbor so traffic noise could be an issue if you’re not used to it. Pool was not open as it was being renovated. Fire pit was propane not real wood. Staff was helpful even though they would not budge on the the pet fee. Expedia listed the room as pet friendly with no mention of an additional fee, but they insisted on charging $35 per night or $100 flat fee for a 12 lb, non-shedding cockapoo.

The Cabin was nice, looks recently remodeled. But a few things need attention. Lighting wasn't working quite right, TV's weren't as well. Overall a Nice little place and pretty close to Bar Harbor.

False advertising

This is a hard review. On Hotels website it looked renovated and cute. Our cabin was anything but that. We didnt complain because it was clean and felt safe but what a dump #8 cabin is. Upon checkout the manager said if we had complained he would moved us to a renovated unit. Too little too late. The location was great while visiting Acadia NP. The pool is under construction too. The manager says Hotels pulled pictures from their website and they were trying to be more transparent. I am not loading pictures because they are pretty bad and that doesnt reflect the whole property.
