Our cabin was remodeled in 2022. It is now a clean, modern, serene, 725 sq ft cabin located in Foscoe, NC. We can comfortable sleep 4 guest but can accommodate 5 if a guest would like to sleep on the couch.
Please Note:
Like many mountain cabins, we do not have central air conditioning. However, our large windows allow for gentle mountain breezes and plenty of natural light, creating a fresh and airy feel throughout the cabin. We also provide a ceiling fan in the living room along with rotating fans in each bedroom.
FOR SUMMER STAYS, PORTABLE A/C UNITS are installed in the living room and both bedrooms from May 30 through September. Guests staying between October and May should note that the portable A/C units are removed during the cooler months, when guests can enjoy the cool mountain air and gentle breezes through the open windows.

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE HIDEAWAY:
"This place was beautiful and close to many things in the area. Both bedrooms were cozy, bathroom was clean and a great size, and the fireplace was great during the winter. We saw many deer close to the cabin which was a great surprise as well! Easy to get around to blowing rock, Appalachian ski mountain, grandfather mountain, and sugar mountain! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a getaway. Brandi was super helpful and responsive!" - Jenny
"The house was beautiful! Very clean, comfortable, cozy. We utilized the fire pit area every evening we were there. Felt secluded, but was close to shopping & dining. Would stay there again!" - Tim
"It was the perfect getaway for me and my wife. The hideaway was an ideal basecamp to explore the mountains and wonderful communities of Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner Elk. The foliage was spectacular, especially from the peaks of Grandfather mountain and Table Rock. Our favorite restaurant for fine dining was the Beat Cellar in Blowing Rock. We will definitely be back!" ~ Joni
