The kitchen also includes a toaster, coffee maker, and ice maker. GUEST LEVEL also has a sink, microwave and refrigerator on the guest level for late night snacks!
The COUNTRY KITCHEN includes a dining room with wonderful designer table and chairs overlooking the view of the surrounding mountains and the profile of Grandfather Mountain.
PARKING FOR 5 CARS-HEATED GARAGE WITH LARGE PORTICO drive under portico to provide protected access shielding from the elements to the front door! The two car garage has a covered breezeway connecting to the main house. Fantastic views! Stayed at this property for daughter's wedding. Accommodated the entire family of 12. Very clean with nice kitchen, easily accessible and in a beautiful neighborhood. A few improvements could be made including extra towels, toiletries, improved pillows, non-working downstairs TV and could use some updated decor and mattresses. Property manager was gracious however didn't necessarily address concerns in timely manner.

This home has excellent mountain views and a nice back deck from which to see the valley and distant mountains. The property was clean but perhaps a bit dated. Large rooms and space to entertain ten people. The huge dining room table was a plus! We would certainly rent this property again if we come back to Banner Elk.

Family stay for Wedding in Banner Elk

Wonderful views! Plenty of room for our party of 9 adult, but listing did not specify types of beds. No room had two beds to allow sharing of two adults who didn't want to sleep in the same bed. Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms did not have mirrors or chairs to help with dressing! Oven did not heat properly. Two lights in dining room burned out. One light in powder room burned out. Some furniture (elaborate mirror frames, carved furniture needed deeper cleaning, as did carpets behind night tables.Help!We left a pair of sweatpants either in room in garage, or mixed with sheets when removed for wash. Would appreciate hearing if they were found and if we can have them mailed.Thanks,Nancy and gang

Best Family Vacation

Growing up going to Beech Mtn for over 40 years, we wanted to give our grandchildren the experience our parents gave our children. The house is beautiful, spacious and plenty of room. Location was perfect, 5 minutes to Fred's, 10 minutes to the slopes and 15 minutes to Banner Elk. The views are amazing. It was a magical Christmas and more. We definitely will rent this home again. Happy New Year!

Outstanding Property

Family vacation

Very beautiful home, the extra finishing details were very well done. The master bedroom was inviting and the master bath was exception. However the master toilet was stopped up upon our arrival and the owner was helpful to put us in contact with the property manager Eva. We made three calls to her and it seemed she was more concerned about the deck doors being locked than the stopped up toilet. So basically our entire time there was spent with an inoperable master bathroom. We were promised daily to have someone to come and repair it but nobody was ever sent. With the cost of this property it ended quite disappointing.

Everything about this vacation property was perfect!! Location and mountain views were spectacular! Our property host Eva was very helpful !! The kitchen had everything we needed plus more! Thanksgiving 2023

The house is great. Everything was as advertised. I was able to make a thanksgiving meal for nine adults and two kids using the kitchen and utensils. I am not sure the oven works efficiently. It seemed to take much longer for food to cook than I am used to. But I don’t typically cook with gas. We restocked wood for the fireplace, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. We accidentally left some medication and eggs in the refrigerator. Please throw them away. It would be too expensive to mail the meds which must be refrigerated. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home so we could enjoy great memories together.

Gorgeous Property, Ideal Location

We loved it. The views are spectacular! The house is specious and lovely. One word of caution or perhaps a suggestion for the owner - more sink and shower soaps, blankets, towels are needed. Also just a heads up for renters, and maybe this is just a pet peeve, but there is a long list of expectations upon checking out (strip beds, clean dishes, empty dishwasher, so forth and so on). I hate learning about that after I've already booked a place. So consider yourself forewarned. It's not enough of a reason not to book.

Stunning location and exactly the mountain feel we wanted for a fall weekend. However, the pillows were flat as a pancake - we ended up going out to buy extras. The pullout above garage was broken and there were no bath mats so that created a hazard for small children. Also every room came with 2 towels, which wasn’t enough for families traveling with kids. I would advise bringing your own towels and pillows if staying at this property and do not rely on the pullout for additional sleep space! Oh and most importantly, the keurig coffee maker didn’t work so you’ll have to brew a full pot.

Amazing home with incredible views

We recently rented Mark's home for a wedding that was being held at the Overlook barn in Banner Elk. The home was absolutely incredible, comfortable and clean. You cannot beat the view from the decks, living room and master bedroom and it was so convenient to get to the wedding! If we ever have another wedding in this area we will absolutely rent again.

Family adventures

We enjoyed our stay in Fox Run so much! The house was exactly as described with amazing views and room for everyone in our large family. Master was private luxurious. The kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking. The owner was responsive to needs with prompt attention and resolution of small issues. We will definitely return to this beautiful mountain home in the future.
