No Credit Cards and Middle of Residences

When we tried to check-in, they wanted us to pay cash where I booked it thru Hotels.com. They didn't even accept credit cards. I didn't have enough cash (Baht). The place was a little difficult to find and it was in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I told them just cancel the room and I booked a different room that was lower priced for 1 night. I come home and now I see a charge on my credit card though I told them to cancel the room. Argh!

To be honest, for this price at this location, there's not much you can expect. It's not bad if you're on budget and just need "a sleep". However, if you need more than that, there're some fundamental problems (even considered the price). The wifi is super weak and unstable; even browsing a simple web page requires luck. You don't get a desk; it's part of the closet. If you hang clothes on the top, you can't get a place for working. Plus, there are ants coming out from nowhere (only on the "desk" though). Finally, don't try to mess with their washing machine s if you don't have lotsss of 10baht coins ready. The machines are picky; they don't accept every coin but you can't cancel once you inserted some they accepted. There's also a machine that doesn't respond after the required amount is inserted
