The only complaint I would have is Saturday afternoon. He tried to eat lunch at the Yard restaurant in the lobby and no one was there to help us. So we were across the street to pickles, which was very good. I’m not sure if the Yard were shortstaffed or what was going on at the time, but we did eat at the yard For lunch and that was good

Our desk service attendant Genisses was very accommodating. All staff members were very friendly. Hotel was clean, our bathtub was a little slippery. The hotel restaurant was okay would have like a few more selection to choose from. Parking was reasonable and convenient.

This hotel was in terrible condition. The sheer curtains were filthy and looked gray instead of the beige color they were supposed to be. The air conditioner vent was filled with dust and debris. Worst of all, the bed was ancient and sagged terribly, and when we tried to straighten out the bumpy mattress pad we discovered that the mattress itself was dark with what looked like a pool of dried blood. I simply can't get that image out of my mind.

The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The only thing that was lacking was a mini fridge, but they had ice machines. The hotel will be even better when they finish the renovations.
