Check was easy, room was great with a huge bed all spotlessly clean. Parking in site was free and plentiful.
Breakfast was ok normal self service selection but cooked breakfast only luke warm.
The worst thing was the loud swearing men in the bar where we went for our evening meal. The restaurant was shut so had food in the bar. However the men made it uncomfortable and we mentioned this to staff who spoke to the men but it made no difference the staff apologised to us but said that’s just the way they are. We ate our basic meal as quickly as possible and left. We didn’t think the food was value for money as it didn’t befit the otherwise high standard of hotel.
Sadly this means we will not return. In other ways it was a convenient stopover from the M6.
