Great private location in the Burren with huge vistas. Wolfgang and Maria are fantastic hosts. It is rustic, and I would suggest staying away from the economy king room we had which had no view and was pretty simple. Still, a unique property and memorable experience.

We loved our stay at The Waters County House! It was a lovely little place in the countryside with gorgeous views, lovely staff, and a delicious breakfast! The Waters is a delightful country house in the Burren. Maria and Wolfgang are impeccable hosts. The house has beautifully decorated sitting areas. We had a lovely evening in the sitting area - chatting with other guests. Breakfast was delicious - very fresh vegetables with hearty eggs. Highly recommend. Thanks Maria and Wolfgang for the lovely stay!

(New) Old-World Charm!

If you are looking for old-world charm, this is the place! You cannot beat the charm, or the lovely couple who own the property. There is even a fresh spring fountain that the property was built around. The most delicious and pure spring water ever! The property is beyond gorgeous, as are the views! We would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely stay at the Water's Country House. Our three children said this was by far their favorite place in Ireland! We all loved the country quiet, starry skies, and the occasional neighbor "moo!" We sat by the fire in the house drawing room and played cards at night. We will be back!

This was without a doubt one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. Everything was very straight-forward with check-in and check-out. The room we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous, and the property was stunning. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area. We wish that we could have stayed here longer than we did!

Enjoyed our stay at Waters Country House. Beautiful place. Bed was comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious. Wished there were areas to sit outside on the property since it had a gorgeous view. Wolfgang was very welcoming - we enjoyed chatting with him. Location is great - near the small castle and town of Ballyvaughn.

The owners and the room were great. The only issues that I had was the water at the property and the mixup in room accommodations. The water on the property is from a natural spring in the house and it isn’t clear or obvious if the water is filtered for protozoa and bacteria. I didn’t drink it out of concern for getting sick less I boil it. The room was nice and clean, but it wasn’t what I paid for. I paid for a bigger room with an exta bed and was given a smaller room with a single bed. Again, the room was nice, but it wasn’t what I paid for. Still, id stay here again, but id bring a water filter ot some extra bottles of water.
