Enjoy your time in Westmeath relaxing at our centrally located and characterful rural farmhouse - the perfect place to base while you reconnect with friends and family, explore Ireland's heritage with days trips, visit the nearby equestrian centres of Mullingar and Cavan or simply relax nearer home, indulging in our local biodiversity and Midland villages. Our lovingly restored 17th century farmhouse boasts 6 inviting bedrooms, including 4 king beds; 2 also with child beds, a twin bedroom, and 2 bunk beds. We have 3 beautifully fitted and luxuriously stocked bathrooms and 1 downstairs open shower/wet room to enjoy. Around the house are plenty of outside spaces for morning coffee or sundowners looking towards the west over the river. A large sitting room with a fireplace and wood burner provides the perfect retreat when a cosy evening is needed. The farm has nearly a mile of river bank which is home to a large kingfisher population, and provides a quiet and safe shelter for a cranary, otters and mink among many other wildlife. The River Inny also crosses the historic Royal Canal with its Greenway offering a flat accessible path for walkers, runners and cyclists across the beautiful risen bogland which borders the farm.
