This was a great location, within walking distance to city centre with all the shopping and pubs. The staff were always very friendly and courteous. A star removed because it seemed like the room had seen better days - some stains in the carpet that haven't been able to be removed. Not a deal breaker, but not pristine.

The checkin clerk was SO helpful. We had issues with our ferry and bad storms and travelled through the night arriving 12 hours early. He found us a room so we could get some sleep (and it was a lovely room!) Thank you

This hotel is in a wonderful location. And the staff at the front were super helpful and very friendly. However, I had booked and paid for a "Deluxe Double room", and ended up with 3 beds, none of which were very comfortable. But the front desk staff actually more than made up for it with just their overall pleasant nature and recommendations for the city.

Horrible place. Only location is helping this property to exist. 250€ for one mid-week night plus 20€ carpark and another 20€ breakfast which is super limited. Room filty and for this price i got disability room what a joke. Never again. In my room i felt like i am starting in homeless shelter which is right beside the hotel.

The Suite we had overlooked the river, and was absolutely beautiful! The Staff were lovely and so very helpful in recommending their favorite places to eat, to visit, etc.. Our Suite was large and beautifully furnished. The Clayton was close to so many wonderful things.

We checked in, and were told our room was in a different corridor. We were supposed to have a king room, but were given a dirty apartment with no sheets (didn’t notice until it was bedtime), pillows, AC. When we spoke with the staff, they lied to us about everything. I even asked for more pillows, the clerk said they’d be sent up. Never happened. Terrible customer service on their end. If I wanted a dirty air BNB, I would have booked one.

Great location. Lovely fit out throughout. Room spotless and sensitively serviced. Didn’t use facilities but bar seemed cosy and menu decent value. Reception staff were lovely. Room was massive! Only very minor complaints - shower pressure not great, fridge didn’t work annd anurcon a little old style controls but worked. softer pillows would have been lovely.
