Amazing!

Balazuc is just delightful. This is our second time staying in Julie's home. It is so beautiful and comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy Balazuc and the river. Can't wait to come back again!

Perfect getaway!

Beautiful Balazuc

My wife & I stayed in this charming home for 2 weeks in Nov/Dec 2019. The house was clean, comfortable & cosy with log fire, good wifi/TV reception, excellent cooking facilities and quality bedding & linen. Nothing more you could wish for. The location and panorama was breathtaking. Sitting on the terrace listening to the Ardèche River flow by while drinking vin rouge was “ si adorable”. The welcoming gifts were also much appreciated. A beautifully finished property in the stunning town of Balazuc. Lots of good hikes nearby which can be finished with a swim in the river. (Note: no bakery within walking distance. You will need to drive to get your morning croissant!)

Wonderful Views, Charming Home

Perched on a hilltop above the Ardèche river, you couldn’t find a more pleasant, beautiful space to spend your days. The home has all the amenities and is quite comfortable. Our favorite was the amazing views from the patio. The river and village are steps away and yet we felt a calm seclusion of the gorges. Our hosts were generous and patient with their time. Simply an exceptional place and we hope to return some day! Thank you!

This wonderful stone house is quietly located at the end of a small road. The surroundings and the view from the terrace of the Ardèche and the rock faces opposite are spectacular. There are additional beautiful seating areas in front of and next to the house. It is only a 5-minute walk to a lovely swimming spot or the village. The house is very well equipped and lovingly furnished. The many books are also great. We used the astronomy atlas to search for constellations in the beautiful starry sky at night. Communication with the owner was very friendly, a clear recommendation!

Geräumiges Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet, einmalige Lage: ruhig, mit Ausblick auf das Tal der Ardeche, andererseits in Laufentfernung zum malerischen Ort Balazuc. Charme, Atmosphäre, viele Bücher!Es hätte noch so viel zu tun gegeben in der Umgebung! Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Une semaine exceptionnelle!!!Je rajouterai une étoile si cela était possible Niché au cœur des gorges de l’Ardeche, la maison offre une vue magnifique sur une partie des gorges et son village Malgré l’épisode de canicule l’accès à la rivière via le petit sentier permet de profiter en comité restreint et de se rafraîchir agréablement. La maison en pierre superbe nous a offert toutes les commodités nécessaires à notre séjour Un séjour très agréableMerci !!!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche in diesem Feriendomizil. Insbesondere die Höhenlage und der Blick auf die Ardèche und das kleine Örtchen ist wundervoll. Die Grillmöglichkeit haben wir gerne genutzt, ebenso das schöne große Bad mit Waschmaschine. Wir hätten uns nur einen Schrank für unsere Klamotten gewünscht. Das wäre es dann aber auch schon.

La maison de type Ardéchoise se trouve au bout d'un chemin avec une belle vue, tranquillité garantie... Maison avec tout le nécessaire, propre avec plusieurs terrasses selon la disposition du soleil afin de profiter du paysage.

Heerlijk verblijf met adembenemend uitzicht

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit fijne huis, tijdens een hittegolf in de Ardèche. We hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf de verschillende terassen en vanuit de keuken, en van het comfort van het huis. Het huis was goed te ventileren omdat er 's avonds vaak een heerlijk windje opsteekt. De zolderkamers werden wel warm, maar het slapen ging prima vanwege de aanwezige mobiele airco. Onze zoons hebben regelmatig genoten van een avondduik in de rivier die op korte loopafstand is. Ook het dorp is op loopafstand, daar zijn verschillende eetgelegenheden en is vers brood te koop. Aanrader! Onze enige tip: wat lege kastruimte om kleding in op te bergen en een extra stoel hier en daar op het terras zou handig zijn, wij waren met 5, er staan er overal 4. Wij hebben genoten!

Dans l’âme d’une magnifique bâtisse Ardéchoise

Un séjour d’une semaine très agréable dans cette magnifique bâtisse, avec une vue superbe. Il suffit d’à peine quelques minutes pour descendre dans le vieux village de Balazuc et à la plage. La maison dispose de vraiment tout, même de plusieurs terrasses, ce qui nous a permis de manger à l’ombre quand nous le voulions. Super séjour, merci !!

Ein absoluter Traum

Wahrhaftig eines der tollsten Ferienhäuser, die wir jemals bewohnen durften. Es ist noch schöner, als auf den Bildern. Die Lage am Ende der Straße mit Blick über die Ardèche ist einzigartig. Das Haus ist absolut sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Check-in war problemlos und Julie im Bedarfsfall jederzeit gut für uns zu erreichen. Wir können uns nur bedanken, dass wir zu Gast sein durften - vielen Dank Julie!

On a stunning secluded location near town with a 240deg view in the mids of an hystoric Canyon

Stunning location, end of the road, near/above the river in the gorge, with 3 terraces for all day sunshine or shade. A hystoric house, well kept, with on going investments. New kitchen, new bathroom, new heating. And soooo privately located but still nearby town. Highly recommended

Ein wunderbarer Ort

Julies Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der Ausblick von der Terrasse einfach grandios. Wir haben es sehr genossen, zu Fuß mit den Kindern über hübsche Pfade sowohl direkt zum schönen Badeplatz unterhalb des Hauses als auch ins Dorf laufen zu können. Absolute Empfehlung!
