The hotel was very busy due to the IRONMAN, but staff were professional, especially in the face of checking out guests on Monday 22/9 discovering there was a train and public transport strike, that, shout out to Vanessa, she dealt with frantic guests stranded for getting to Bologna airport for travelling home in a calm and professional manner. They don’t have enough kettles for rooms, I would say, we could only have one on the last 2 days of our 7 day stay. The only staff member who I found disconcerting , was the cream jacketed breakfast room male, who came up to me on the first morning and said “you make only breakfast “ I had nothing in my hands, and hadn’t even found a table . That was insulting but I chose not to mention in the moment because I wanted to just get on with my stay.
