I was overlooking the brad or lake nice views got moved from my room cause a bus tour was coming in. Stayed two more nites was up graded to a suite at the top of the property we were given a bottle of wine and two glasses from the manager Because the room was full of dead moths. A blue bottle cap was slowing things up a bit in the bathroom

A great Baddeck stay!

We had a great stay at Silver Dart Lodge. Room was clean and comfy and location great for the local sites. Excellent restaurant on-site for breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful lake views, lovely nature trail..great customer service, front desk was excellent. Unfortunately the rooms (I asked for a different room due to the strong musty/cigarette- like smell) are very, very dated. They were clean, yes..but still felt icky to me due to the severe wear and tear. It felt like time travel back to the 60s 70s early 80s…and not in a good way. This place was probably great about 50 yrs ago.

Well run hotel in good location within walking distance to downtown Baddeck. Room shows it's age but was clean and had everything we needed for a couple days. The restaurant was reasonable and had good food. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Wifi was not reliable, but computers available in the lobby. Would stay again.

Silver Dart was very comfortable especially the bed. I think the owners would agree that the units could do with some upgrades especially on decor and furnishings. However, our stay was pleasant and the staff were always friendly and helpful when required.

The property is spread out over a large area so there’s lots of green space. They even had a walking path in the back. Only problem was the air conditioning unit was all fan no cooling. Buffett breakfast was similar to mast hotels. Older units but are being upgraded. I would sure stay again.
