Renovated traditional house in the heart of the charming village of Aydius, perched on a sunny slope in the Aspe Valley. Access via steps or a ramp (suitable for strollers and rolling suitcases) leads to a private 24 m² terrace overlooking the street, with views of the mountains (Pic de Bergon). Hiking trails start from here, leading to Lake Montagnon, a heart-shaped gem of the Pyrenees – a must-see! Ground floor: - Fully equipped kitchen with wood-burning stove (microwave and oven, 4-burner gas cooktop, 180-liter refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher). - Large living room with lounge area (TV, fiber optic Wi-Fi, small Bluetooth speaker) opening onto a terrace - Shower room (washing machine, shower, sink, toilet) First floor: - 3 bedrooms (2 double beds, 1 single bed) - Bathroom (bathtub and shower, toilet) Second floor (attic): - Mezzanine (ladder-style ladder) with 1 single bed The beds are made up for your arrival, and Paulette welcomes you with her delicious garbure (cabbage and bean soup). Gas heating is available at an extra cost (€8/day). Firewood is available at an extra cost (€15/stay). Garden furniture. Private barbecue. Free parking in the village, 30m away. Trout fishing in the Gabarret, a stream below the village, in the Cazaubon district. Goat cheese is available for purchase from local farmers. The cottage is attached to the owners' house. In the Béarn Pyrenees, the Aspe Valley and its unspoiled natural landscapes are waiting to be discovered: the heart-shaped Montagnon Lake, the Mâture Trail, and many other wonders, such as the Bergon Peak, which faces your terrace. Joli village authentique de montagne.Vue magnifique et exposition ensoleillée. Logement bien équipé,tres propre. Balades tous niveaux sans prendre la voiture. Merci a Paulette pour sa garbure !
