Beautiful ocean view and staff was very accommodating. No elevators so be prepared to walk the stairs but well worth the climb if you’re not physically limited.

Stayed in June 2025. Great location in Avila Beach—you can hear the surf from your room, and we weren’t even in an oceanfront room. Bicycles to borrow, and breakfast is included. A small menu, but quality! They do lattes and mochas that are top notch, and eggs and pastries. In the evening, they have pie and ice cream available. This hotel is a great value in a cute little beach town.

Very pleasant stay.

The place was very nice. We enjoyed our room and how easy it was to access everything along the beach front. We liked that they offered beach supplies to use and bicycles as well! We plan to return and get an ocean view next time.

Love the Inn!!

We love to come back here! The hotel is quite quaint and I love the uniqueness of it. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast on the rooftop coffee shop is to die for! We love this place and will continue to return time after time again.

This is a quirky little hotel right on the beach. We LOVED our stay. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is old and quirky, but it is clean and inviting. The amenities are fabulous! There are beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, bikes, snacks, and the MOST amazing coffee and croissants in the morning on the rooftop deck. To top it all off, warm pie and ice cream every night were a fantastic way to end the day. Hats off to the cleaning crew- so friendly

Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely loved my stay at this special spot and I hope to return! The hotel has so much cute character and the staff is friendly. They have a gorgeous view from the rooftop and a delicious breakfast that is included. Felt almost like a bed and breakfast. We made use of the beach equipment and towels as well. Lovely little town for a family getaway.

The room was wonderful! It is a very comfortable hotel, albeit a bit dated, which is what I like about coastal hotels. We loved the rooftop patio and the morning breakfast and coffee. The only drawback there are no elevators, which made it difficult for my wife to manage the stairs and impossible for my brother-in-law and his wife to consider visiting. Despite the lack of elevators, we are definitly planning return visits.

The staff was very friendly and my family and I really enjoyed the free pie and ice cream and they even let us borrow beach chairs and sand toys for the kiddos. We definitely want to return here.
