Recharge from your Austin adventure in this upscale cottage on the artsy East side. With an open kitchen/living room, a farmhouse bedroom, and a roomy loft, it’s the perfect home base to take in Austin. The spacious deck overlooking the creek is ideal for wine or coffee. Enjoy lazy breakfasts or chatty dinners or walk to many of the east side’s cool eateries and scrumptious coffee shops.

The entire space is yours to enjoy. The downstairs bedroom, with a queen memory foam mattress, has plenty of closet space. The second sleeping area is up the stairs in the loft where you will have a comfy queen mattress with plenty of pillows. The full bath has a shower and doors to both the bedroom and living room. The full kitchen has most anything you would need for a sweet meal! There is off-street parking and plenty of free street parking.

Currently, the house has a small hot water heater. It's fine as long as you take short showers and spread them out in between guests. Keep that in mind if you book the house for four guests.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the yard fenced?
There is a partial fence for some privacy, but there is a bridge over the creek that leads to a neighboring cottage.

Are long showers possible?
The water heater is just a 10 gallon which allows for a five minute shower, so showers would need to be spread out between guests. We really don't have many complaints. Once guests know, it is easy to navigate.

Is noise an issue?
The house is located on a busy street so it can be noisy. The bedroom is in the back, so no one complains. The corner is so convenient and walkable so we do not mind the cars.

What is the parking situation?
There is plenty of parking for a car or two in front of the house and plenty more on the street.

Is the space wheelchair friendly?
The entire house is one level and the doorway to the bedroom is fairly wide. The driveway is gravel and brick.

How do I check in?
A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us!

Is a Pack n Play Available?
If you let us know ahead of time, we can have a pack n pland and/or high chair at the house for you.

Can I extend a stay?
To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?
We have a moderate cancellation policy. It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund.

Are pets allowed?
We love dogs and love to host but they do cause more complications for our cleaning crew. We have a limit of 2 dogs with a 100.00 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pup. If guests arrive with a pet without making prior arrangements, the fee is 250.00. Because of allergies, we cannot host cats.

Service vs Emotional Support
Service dogs have received specialized training to perform a specific task or tasks for an individual with a disability are considered service animals. Please provide the documentation and the pet fee is waived. Emotional support animals are important as well, but they will be charged the pet fee.

Are there extra pillows?
We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well.

Are extra guests allowed?
If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues. If you have extra guests sleeping over or more than five guests for an event, please ask and we can asses:)

Is smoking allowed outside?
Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests.

Could we leave our luggage?
We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. Our house down the street with a safe carpart - also a safe option for leaving bags for a longer time period. Just let us know. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags.

Could I have an early check-in or late checkout?
We can arrange up to a two hour early check in or late check out. The fee is $20/hour through Vnmo (@PB-Austin)

What is a MUST do in Austin?
We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worth a drive by!
