The rooms stunk so bad. We moved the first room and the second room still stunk. The bed sheets weren’t very clean and the breakfast was terrible, they brought out an entire tray of raw bacon.

My recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Near The Domain was disappointing. The room had multiple issues, including a leaky shower faucet, unreliable Wi-Fi, and an A/C unit that made a constant dripping noise throughout the night. Unfortunately, the customer service was equally poor. Of the four front desk staff I interacted with, three were noticeably unhelpful and seemed irritated by even the simplest requests. In one instance, when my brother and I asked about getting towels after waiting an extended amount of time, a front desk staff member responded with, “Y’all about to piss me off”—which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I suppose this is the level of service you can expect from a budget hotel these days.

When we checked in the front desk lady was great. But the room had mold in the shower the floors felt dirty, the AC wasn’t very cold, the hallways were littered with bags of trash that guests just left outside their doors and it would sit there for an entire day until the next afternoon. The parking lot was covered in smokers and cigarette butts. The breakfast area was always empty in the food containers and the tables were filthy, it wasn’t maintained very well like it should have been. The door locks were flimsy at best, I used a chair to secure my door from the inside. People up and down the halls all night long. Best thing about the hotel was the lady that check us in, she was amazing, the rest was less that par for a LaQuinta.

Our stay was not as pleasant as I would have liked. The room smelled like mold and mildew- and the shower curtain in the bathroom had mildew on the bottom of it. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. The hotel is in a great area near The Domain which is why I chose it and the front desk staff were pleasant.

The girl that checked is in was not friendly did not explain were the room was went to 2nd floor could not find the room ask a cleaning person she did not know the room was had to go back down stairs and ask where the room was not friendly

The property was okay, I expected better for the location. We booked our room in advance, the room was not set up for the amount of travelers we had. If you plan on napping or have small children who nap, do not choose a room near the pool (screaming kids). The breakfast was the exact same both mornings (not great). The area where the food was located got overly crowded.
