You have to pay a minimum of 32 dollars for parking and the rooms were half clean. Property is out of date as well and needs a lot of renovations

Close to the State building. - The hotel is under construction/repair and they started working early in the morning. Very disturbing and loud/noisy!!! Not very clean.

Location, Location, Location. This is really the compelling reason why someone might select this property over other properties in the area. We were assigned a room on 3rd floor but elevator was not working so the front office staff offered the freight elevator which was OK. The room itself was more than adequate.

Roach infestation.

Multiple cockroaches in room, breakfast not really stocked. The shower fixtures were broken. The floor had white powder all over it. I booked for two days. I checked out after one.

STAY AWAY AND GO ELSE WHERE!!!

When my family and I got there, it was already late. We were put into a room where the HVAC unit had a 220 volt plug to fit into a 120 outlet. The plug was also 20 inches short at that! The temperatures were in the mid to upper 20's that night in Austin, TX. I looked into the heater unit and saw it was also caked with plaster from work that was done in the room. They put us in another room and it was a little above better. Go else where in order to have a better stay!

Good for sleep but not to dwell.

Patways to rooms are outdoors and dirty. Elevators and stairs are dirty. Parking areas are filthy and not free. Bath room fan start and runs in fits and make a racket. Comfortable bed and hot water for showers.

Definitely walkable place if you are visiting the capitol building, I would not recommend for families, it is very unclean and lack of maintenance and people around make it feel unsafe.

The good: convenient location, low price, helpful courteous staff, felt safe, large room, comfortable bed. The bad: had to unplug loud refrigerator, carpet dirty/stained past cleaning, cool only shower, broken toilet seat, terrible lack of food at breakfast, sign says you must pay for parking but it was not enforced (a motel should mean free parking). WOULD NOT RETURN
