I stayed at CitizenM in Austin and honestly, it was amazing. Super clean, modern, and the vibe was just right. The room was compact but really well-designed — everything felt smart and stylish. Loved the techy touches and the cozy bed. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a while. Would 100% stay again.

Great location. Clean. Friendly staff. Great view from the room. There wasn’t everything I needed in the room. No iron and the shared one on my floor did not work. Also, there was someone in my room when I walked in which was really weird. It was an employee but it was almost like they were using the room. It was very odd. And the rooftop bar was never open. I went to the pool twice and one of the times I intentionally waited until the rooftop bar was supposed to be open, never did.

Really good property and friendly staff. It was a little noisy at times but nothing too bad, I would take earplugs though. The gym is really quite small, it’s good to have one but it’s not very well equipped so set your expectations quite low. The pool area is nice loses the sun in the afternoon and gets incredibly busy even during quiet periods at the hotel. It was a very standard citizen M hotel so you know exactly what you’re getting and they always seem to deliver on that. I say for five nights and I think that’s quite a long time to stay in these types of rooms, the location is really good, but if you’re staying longer than a couple of nights, I’d look for more of a resort type hotel to really fully enjoy Austin.

Super cute hotel! Very convenient there is a lovely bar and breakfast bar in the morning that is optional. Very stylish overall I would say you are getting almost more than what you are paying for.

Rooms were tiny. Bed was crammed in between 3 walls so that my husband had to crawl over me to get in or out of bed. We got no housekeeping or information about housekeeping. I ordered a cappucino in the restaurant and received a mini latte. The barista clearly did not know what a cappicino is. $23 is too much for a relatively meager breakfast buttet.
