Chardon Room – Elegance at the Heart of Le Domaine de la Salamandre

Le Domaine de la Salamandre is located 35 minutes from Périgueux, in Auriac-du-Périgord. This peaceful retreat spans 41 hectares and is dedicated to achieving complete self-sufficiency in water, energy, and waste recycling. We are committed to passing on values of respect for nature, the environment, and others to future generations. The property features a greywater recycling system and thermal solar panels.



To cool off, you can enjoy a natural swimming pool based on phytopurification.



The room has a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. It is furnished with a queen-size bed and a comfortable sitting area. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate (bed linen not included). If you wish, you can rent a linen package with sheets and towels for a double bed, available for an extra fee.



The dining room welcomes you each morning for breakfast. On request, a homemade dinner can also be arranged. An outdoor kitchen is now available for preparing picnics and storing your food in the fridge, equipped with an electric cooktop. Please note: the outdoor kitchen is accessible only from May to September.



Certified organic since 2001, the estate offers farm products for sale, such as walnut oil and honey. Please note that pets are not allowed and Wi-Fi is available only on the shared terraces. Come and discover this unique place where modern comfort and respect for nature come together harmoniously.
