EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE!!! Never ever stay here, dirtiest, loudest, most unsanitary and incompetent staff you’ll ever meet. Unsafe, loud, didn’t fall asleep until after 5am when it finally started getting a little quieter. Horrible experience, will never stay here again!!!!!!!!!

If you ever wanted a firsthand experience of a crime documentary, look no further than Red Roof Inn Augusta (Washington Rd). From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was less a place for travelers and more a hub for chaos. First, let’s talk safety…because there was none. Within hours, I witnessed an individual clearly under the influence of meth wandering the premises, a revolving door of questionable activity indicative of prostitution, and openly operating drug deals. And yet, somehow, that wasn’t even the worst part. The room itself was in a state of absolute disrepair. Half the outlets didn’t work, meaning I had to play musical chairs with my electronics. The phone? Useless. The shower head managed to soak everything **except** me. And let’s not forget the pièce de résistance: dried blood stains on the sheets, a horrifying discovery that made sleeping impossible. The furniture looked as though it had been plucked straight from a demolition site, and after the first day, fresh towels became a distant dream. At this point, I considered leaving, but given the types lingering around the lobby, I wasn’t entirely convinced my car would be in one piece the next morning. **Final Verdict:** If you value your life, hygiene, or sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. This place isn’t just terrible,it’s a horror show masquerading as accommodation. One star, and that’s being generous.

The staff didn’t know what rooms were occupied, they tried to put us I. 2 suffer rooms that hadn’t been cleaned. The room we finally ended up in wasn’t what we booked.

This was the absolute worst hotel stay I have ever had. Hotels.com doesn’t even have the correct photos up of this filthy place. The door shuts half way, the ceiling was leaking onto the bed, hair everywhere, dust, filth.

The property needs a lot of work. Light fiixtures have no cob=vers and wires hanging out of on ceiling. water damaged spots on ceiling that need repair. Property s very old and needs a remodel.

As soon as we walked in it smelled liked someone had been chain smoking cigarettes in there moments before. Then, we noticed mold on the ceiling and then a mystery substance on the walls. There were huge holes in walls both near the sink and in the bathroom. While I was laying down, my buddy noticed a cockroach and another bug in the sink. I had mentioned moments before that my legs had felt like they were bitten and when I pulled off the blanket, there was a cockroach beteeen my legs in the bed. One of the beds was not on a platform and had a moldy base. When I brought the cockroach to the front desk we said we would not be staying there. He said we would be refunded but have still not been reimbursed yet. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Paid for 3 nights in Feb. Tried to check in on 4/9 and was told there were no rooms available. "Sorry, we are overbooked, and it is first come basis." No alternatives were presented or provided. This is unacceptable and we are still trying to get our refund.

The most disgusting hotel I ever stayed at. Toilet and shower didn't work, filthy dirty disgusting everywhere. Hotel staff was completely unhelpful and lied about everything. STAY AWAY!!!!!
