Great for families

Room was very nice and clean. Hotel has lots of amenities for families/kids (giant arcade, water park, mini golf, etc). Close walking distance to casinos (Hard Rock, Ocean). Only down side was elevator was vary congested and key card didn't work in some. We also had a room next to us with a very large family in it and they were very noisy (after midnight and before 8 am). Overall great for the price though. We enjoyed and would stay again.

Being seniors the place was not aimed at our clientele however if we were a family especially with young children it would have been a paradise. The overall property was clean and appealing to kids. We will probably go elsewhere in the future.

Shabby but stayable

So I stay here off and on regularly bc I have annual island water park pass. I like orleans tower bc it’s the closest to the Waterpark but let’s face it. It is shabby shabby. Ice machine didn’t work I had very noisy neighbors up all night. Refrigerated froze everything even tho I turned temperature down. Unfortunately I will stay again bc I have a disability and I’m able to bring my service animal. Manager Amanda was very nice and totally professional

There was only 1 person on check in and out, no dinning options, a lot of noise on the lobby due to the games, the elevators were old and was giving me a shock everytime i press the button, the was only 1 guy at the vallet, I saw a lot of families cause it looks like a fun hotel for the kids since they got many options for skating, waterpark and an arcade. But would not stay again, for the price was too expensive

The hotel was dirty and reeked of smoke in hallways, elevators, and other areas. The advertised restaurants were not open at all and/or opened several hours late, not making anything available for breakfast or coffee. Overall, I would not rate this as a family friendly resort due to lack of amenities besides the waterpark and arcade. We had a problem with our shower, and could not even have maintenance check it promptly, as they did not have anyone on shift. The staff was nice, but overall seemed under staffed and not able to support the resort. This was a total waste of money and we will not come back to showboat. We even left in the middle of our stay, as the hotel got busier, it just became more unclean all around.
