Good enough if you don't need something updated

This place is at the center of the action, but surprisingly quiet. The staff was very friendly and rooms came with beach tags. Houses down the shore have gotten so expensive and motels like this have become the only options for many. I do think, however, that this place is a over-priced for what you actually get. Our room wasn't ready at check-in time which was extremely frustrating after a long drive. Ditto for a few other families. The elevator is slow and the line backs up at check-in time, so be prepared to wait. Each room is slightly different and ours (222) could use some work. The bedroom and kitchen area were fine. The bathroom grout was extremely dirty and needed a good cleaning. The digital clock was flashing and the wall clock was out of batteries (no big deal, but these are easy fixes). We showered late in the day and the water was lukewarm. We thought it was the timing, but it happened again in the morning. The beds are not too comfortable and the pillows are thin. Housekeeping consists of trash removal, but beds were not made (no big deal). Towels will be replaced if left on the floor. Bottom line: If you're a go-with-the-flow person who just wants to be near things, you will be fine here. If you want high-end, this isn't for you.

Staff was wonderful. Room was clean and comfy. Right off the boardwalk so easy access to everything and the beach. They provide you with beach tags, parking and free WiFi. Bonus is a clean heated pool for days you don’t want to go to the beach.

Liked that it was close to the boardwalk and the beach. Did not like the fact that we did not have hot water the entire time we were there. It's not fun taking cold showers. The room was very dated and there was mold on the ceiling above the door. Did like the heated pool but they keep it too hot, felt like being in a hot tub. Maybe that's where all the hot water is going?

Friendliest staff! Place was clean, neat and plenty of room for myself and two boys. Soooo close to the boardwalk and beach. Pool was warm and clean

Location was perfect, just a few steps to the boardwalk. The room was perfect for what we needed. Super friendly staff! Definitely would stay again.

We didn't have hot water the night we stayed and the beds had sand on them at the bottom with the throw cover. Great location though and price was ok.
