When we arrived another guest was there because their key card was not working again. When we got to the desk, the clerk told us our credit card had been declined and we needed to call Orbitz. We had already paid. We decided to leave without checking in and come back later. She called 15 minutes later to say everything was good to go. We returned a few hours later and checked in with no problem. We had two rooms booked. One was perfectly clean and the keys worked. Mine was an adventure. We got to the door and the key reader was popped out with the wires showing. We discussed going back when someone opened the curtains to look at us. We immediately went back to the clerk who said no one was booked for that room. They refused to call the police and went to confront the person themself. They came back and gave us keys to a new room, which didn’t work, so we had to go down a third time to get new keys again. The first TV had no remote, and the second had a remote that didn’t work. The bathroom door wouldn’t close without two people struggling together. The property smelled strongly of marijuana.
