Very disappointing stay. The property had zero sense of hospitality from the moment we arrived. The entire place smelled strongly of cat urine, which made the environment extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there were roaches in the room. This is a serious cleanliness and maintenance issue that should be addressed immediately. I would not recommend staying here until these problems are resolved.

The toilet in my room wouldnt flush, there was a trash bag attached inside to be able to flush. Walls were coming apart, what looked like mold on them. Dresser handles were broken. Door wouldn’t lock. Had a lot of trouble getting in the room

Will never stay here again--a total dump! Sink cracked all over, shower with mold and rigged handle, carpet filthy, walls destroyed and ceiling looks horrible. Tons of chalking holding shower in place.

The staff was nice. Everyone was respectful and helpful. The breakfast was great; there was something for everyone. Unfortunately, the pictures online do not match the actual hotel. I felt like I was catfished. There was a lot of water damage. The furniture was old and dingy. The bedding was damaged. The light in the shower didn't work. The lighting in the bathroom was dim. There were stains on the wall and ceiling, there wasn't an iron or ironing board in our room, and an ironing board wasn't available at all. There was also a mildew smell in the hallway. Lastly, we did not receive any housekeeping service the whole time we were there. We had take out our own trash, clean the bathroom, make up our bed, and go to the front desk to get fresh bath linens and bed linens. This location needs a fresh start. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with high standards for lodging.

From the bad smell in the hallway, to garbage left in our room at check in, to the hang tape from the ceiling, not all the vanity lights not working, leaking fridge as well as the tub and not to mention how many times our room key didn’t work and we had to constantly take it back down to the front desk to reactivate it. Last there was no gym as shown on the website.

0 stars- Serious Safety Issue I stayed at the Sleep Inn near the airport in College Park, GA, and had a very frightening experience. At approximately 9:00 AM, while I was still inside my room, a hotel employee attempted to enter my room without knocking or announcing himself. The only thing that prevented him from fully entering was the secondary/double lock on the door. The door was partially opened during this attempt. When confronted, the employee stated he was checking to see whether the room was going to check out. I later reported the incident to the front desk and was told the employee was “new and didn’t know any better.” As a female traveler who was supposed to be staying alone, this incident made me feel extremely unsafe. Entering an occupied room without knocking or permission is unacceptable and a serious breach of guest safety. I will be reporting this incident to Choice Hotels corporate. I strongly urge other travelers—especially women traveling alone—to use caution when considering this property.
