Roach infestation

The room was infested with roaches. They were everywhere and the hotel unfortunately did nothing to address the situation. They were crawling on the headboard, night stand, in and on the refrigerator, the walls, ceiling, my bag, my foot, the shower and the floor. I asked for another room and was told none were available. I asked for bug spray and was told none was available. I walked to a local gas station at 3 AM to purchase Roach spray as a last resort in order to get through the night! I was given a refunded for spray and room after calling multiple people. I was told I’d receive a free nights stay and would be contacted by the general manager to discuss additional concerns and compensation which to date has not occurred.

The bathrooms need some type of fan to dry off the interior after a shower. The weather just sits in the bathroom after time it created mildew. I got sick but because I didn't have any insurance I use home remedies.

Roach infestation

This stay was an absolute nightmare. Check in was smooth polite desk agent however almost immediately upon getting into the room and somewhat settled I began see things rapidly moving across the floor and walls. The room was infested with roaches. I called the front desk and was told they were completely booked so I could not change rooms and I couldn’t not be given a refund. It was explained to me that the information would be passed along to management. As the night went on it seemed to get worse as they were on the desk, my bag, the head board, in the shower and on the refrigerator. I left at 3am and walked to a nearby gas station and bought Raid because the night agent informed me they was nothing available on site to treat the situation and that there had been other guests before me reporting the same issue. I lost count of how many I killed and got absolutely zero sleep as this went on right up until checkout! The customer service was the one saving grace because the representative I got on the phone was apologetic and promptly took care of securing my refund for the stay. The morning manager was also very apologetic and refunded the cost of the Raid. I have never experienced anything like that in over 20 plus years of weekly travel and hotel stays due to my job. Absolutely horrendous experience

This place is not safe in any way. There's obvious drug dealing and use in the surrounding area, with the whole atmosphere of [unclear], even the ceilings. And the worst part is the smell. The hallways smell rotten, not to mention the crime that comes with it. The place is disgusting and revolting; there's mildew and mold everywhere: the walls, the floors, that is, the rooms. Pets are allowed, but I don't think this includes them urinating on any part of the carpet. I got to the room thinking it might just be something from outside, but upon entering, the door had obvious signs of having been forced open before and didn't even close properly. The floor was so dirty and sticky that I could hear your shoe coming off when you lifted it to take a step. One of the beds was unmade as if someone had used it, and you could see the countless stains of all kinds. I didn't even go into the bathroom; I didn't think I could stand it. The expressions of the rest of the guests were quite hostile the entire time. The staff was friendly enough and tried to help me, but the place can only be saved by total demolition.
