The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. Front desk, evening of Saturday, May 10, sorry didn’t catch his name was especially helpful when my husband was pick pocketed.

This property is a nice property, well staffed and clean. But there are some challenges. The rooms are quite small (typical for EU/large cities) but there is no counter space in the bathroom. Trying to get ready was doable but cramped. But the primary issue is the noise. This hotel sits at the intersection of two very busy streets and sleep is nearly impossible. Add the nextdoor nightclub and you might as well crack the wine and sing along with the parties singing in the street all night. Nice place but if you want to sleep, this isn’t the place for you.

Great first stay in Athens at the Athenaeum. Great clean rooms, excellent staff and service (I particularly want to thank Manolis for all the great advice on nearby restaurants), easy 10 mn walk to the Acropolis and many tourist sites. Some people might be bothered by the closeness to the intersection of two majors roads with traffic. Would highly recommend, and stay there again!

An absolutely fabulous hotel. Clean modern great facilities, the staff were always helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The only down side is in some of the rooms on the lower floor facing the front can be a bit noisy with the traffic. But don't let that put you off, you will not be disappointed.

Overall location of the hotel was excellent to the Acropolis and Hadrian's Gate. Staff at the receptionist and in the rooftop restaurant were friendly. The included breakfast was great and lots of variety provided, however dining options for dinner were pricey and left us unfulfilled. The room was clean and spacious and staff were accommodating. Overall, great hotel and would stay here again.

Truly a five star experience. All staff from reception desk to restaurant were very welcoming and helpful. An absolute delight. Just to mention a few - Pascalis, Edvin, Adonis, Charles, and quite frankly all the staff we came in contact with, went above and beyond. Its just a pity i can't recall all their names. The gentleman in the restaurant on Februrary 16th night, made us feel so welcome and at home. It was unexpected and such a genuine gesture. Room has all you need including complimentary drinks, water, wine. What's not to like? Complimentary robes and slippers, tooth brush and paste. Rooms and toilets exceptionally clean. Breakfast options quite varied and of high quality. You will definitely find lots to eat. The Athenuem hotel is a touch of class and the staff are truly special. I will highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you guys for making our stay beautiful 😍

Amazing staff

This hotel is fabulous-new, clean and in a great location. The staff is amazing-gave us advice about things we wanted to do, got our taxis and and were the most helpful hotel staff ever. Always smiling. I stayed there 1 night before a cruise-I had picked it because of location-we knew we were coming back to Athens for 2 days after cruise and because of the staff, i booked back in there. Unreal breakfast-everything you could imagine, not like a tepid continental breakfast. We were there over Valentines Day and they put roses, chocolates and balloons in the room & had fun doing it. There are other Atheneum’s in Athens but I would go back to this location every time.
