We were told upon landing in Athens, with two young kids, that I had not booked this apartment and it was unavailable. The hosts proceeded to pull what I assume was a bait and switch. They gave us an address in a different/less desirable location to meet them to tour a different apartment we could stay at. Once at the location we're were told this was not the actual location and they walked us to a third location, all the time lying about how close we we were to Plaka, where the original apartment we booked was located. The new apartment they wanted us to rent was shabby and the entrance was through a shady half underground garage. It was nothing like what we booked. The hosts repeatedly told us what a good deal we were getting since the new apartment was more expensive than the Plaka apartment (extremely unlikely). There was zero chance we were going to stay there. I had to rebook on the fly. Throughout this ordeal, I had no way to contact Vrbo for support. We were left stranded in a foreign country. Shame on these hotsts and shame on Vrbo!
