Beautiful , spotless hotel. Great to have a balcony. Staff on Reception were ,without exception , helpful and friendly, especially Yannis. Really good breakfast buffet. 8 minute walk to metro station where it’s very easy to connect to Sytagma, Piraeus and the airport. Although pavements in the area are quite uneven, so extra care is needed walking. Some fantastic restaurants nearby. Would *highly recommend* Loom hotel.

Lovely little hotel in the middle of a residential area of Athens. Lots of little places to eat in the surrounding area and only 20 minute walk to key historic sites. Actual hotel room itself was clean and modern design. Staff were lovely and continental breakfast was delicious.

Boutique hotel offering excellent value

I don't normally write reviews for the hotels I stay at, but Loom was such a fantastic experience that I wanted to give feedback for anyone else thinking about booking. This place is a gem. The room I booked was larger than my apartment, and excellent value considering the property's provision. Staff at the front desk made the trip feel like staying with friends, they were so approachable and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and featured at least two Greek options each morning. Gazi is a really fun area, so there was always plenty to do in the hotel's area, but there's also a metro that's about a five minute walk for getting into town. Loom is a cool place to stay in a cool part of town and I couldn't have asked for a better trip.

One night stay

The walk from the metro is about 600 meters but is a bit of a hike if you have luggage. The neighborhood isn’t pretty but there are excellent food choices and bars within walking distance and the ambiance is great. The hotel is clean and updated and the staff are friendly. The beds are uncomfortable and the rooms on the entrance floor are very noisy in the morning. Overall our stay was good but the relatively high price wasn’t justified.

The property was clean and very comfortable, but the breakfast could have more sweet options. The neighbourhood is a bit left to itself, but the location is near the city center and the M3 station Kerameikos.

This is a hidden gem near by city center of Athens, Katerina and her co workers are working hard to be sure that guests receive the best services possible. Room was clean, daily housekeeping was great and 24 hours concierge was always ready to assist us with anything. Breakfast was tasty, fresh with many varieties for different dietary. We wish to stay in this place again if have a chance to visit beautiful Greece again.

Maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Room was modern and spotless, and cleaned every day. Staff were so friendly, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Location is great - walkable from the metro which goes to/from the airport, and is walkable to all the main tourist sites! Breakfast was also good, not any vegan options other than toast (although to be fair we didn’t ask if there were) but there was a wide range of other items! Would definitely recommend!

Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful including the cleaning lady who tidied the room daily. I appreciated the comfortable bed, large balcony and mini fridge. I enjoyed the traditional greek style breakfast, but it was pretty basic. There is a functional elevator for the building. We never heard our neighbors in adjacent rooms but we could hear noise from outside. There was some construction when we first arrived but luckily it only lasted for 2 days. If you stay in the room above the dining area, be prepared to smell burning toast or cigarette smoke. We walked a good 35-40 min every day to get to the main attractions. There is a metro station nearby, but we only used it to get to and from the airport which was really easy to use. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood and a grocery store around the corner. The sidewalks in the area are challenging. They are often narrow and blocked off by construction, trees or cars. So we often walked on the street as long as there weren't any cars on the road.
