We experienced a major issue during our stay that the staff was unable to remedy. I have 4 adult travelers in my group. I intentionally booked a room with a bed and futon. I even called before booking to confirm this. Upon check in I discovered that the only room available does not have a futon and that they gave that room to another person. 2 adults in my room were forced to sleep on the hard floor for 3 nights straight during their vacation. That decision also took away the ocean view. Other cons, while the room renovations are nice there is no AC. This matters during summer when the building cooks in the sun and leaving your window open at night means waking up every 15 min to loud vehicles on the street nearby. The springs in the mattress of 217 are also very worn out, leaving our backs sore. Currently I can only recommend this hotel to groups of 2 or less and outside of hot summer months.

The bed is very comfortable. There is no air conditioning but there is a nice breeze from the windows and an overhead fan. Check in was a breeze and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It has the quaint feel of an older style building with modern charm. Many restaurants and breweries just a short walk away.

Amazing apartment, very clean, spacious and quiet. Great views of the town and the river. Water, snack bars and beer in the fridge and lots of tea and coffee. Free on street parking or $20 secured car park at rear of property. Right in downtown, easily walkable to everything. Nothing to complain about at all. 5 star

Room was unbelievably hot with no air conditioning, only one working window in each room, and no screens on the windows in a place filled with pigeons. Immediately turned our keys back in and asked for a refund. Days later, still no refund.

The AC for the room wasn’t working at all and the entire town of Astoria has an uncanny feel to it. I wouldn’t visit this town again even if you paid me. Makes Portland look like Disney World.

My room was very appealing and comfortable. I was in Cabin 217 with shared shower/bath. Shower by my room was great and there was a bathroom free when needed. The neighborhood is a little noisy at night (restaurant/bar nearby) but I fell asleep no problem after closing the windows. Loved the ceiling fan, sink in room, bathrobes, charging station near bed. All very well thought out for a smaller space. Much more luxurious than a KOA cabin, which is about the same price! (Although those can accommodate kids) Felt safe as solo traveler. Would stay again!

Funny enough I booked here having no idea that I booked a cabin with no shower and bathroom! We arrived and had a good chuckle! The lobby was very cute and welcoming, the employee was very kind and welcoming as well! The rooms were clean with plenty of space, great pillows and a comfy bed! The bathroom I picked each time was open (meaning sharing was no issue), the bathrooms and showers were very clean! The location was prime! And directly across from the wedding I was in town for! I would easily stay here again!
