Great location, right next to the trolley

I really enjoyed my stay here, in spite of the hotel being older. Because it is older, everything is sturdier, the furniture was firm and so was the mattress which is great for my bad back! Our view was of the harbor and it was beautiful. Breakfast was good, including waffles and biscuits and gravy and yogurt and fruit. The front desk were very welcoming, I plan to stay again

I was not able to pay cash when I checked in. It is an older Motel, plumbing was extremely loud. The plastic that covers fluorescent light fixture in bathroom was not there, so the bulbs are exposed. Large gap under door that big wind gusts came through. Free breakfast was ok, would have appreciated food ingredients though, lots of people have allergies so it would have been nice to know what I was eating. Good view

The theme room was cool. The bed was firm and comfy. The front desk staff was pleasant. The view was not as good. We could see a bit if the marina but no river. There was a water swale in front of the balcony but it drained during the day and looked mucky. Beyond the swale was a plot with run down vehicles in it. A bit of a let down. The TV. We wanted to watch local news and CBS prime time shows. I followed directions to the letter and could not get to the channels. Also, the lag time from pressing the remote was about 5 seconds and it created confusion. We just turned it off. Minor stuff but it's stuff.

The property is old and needs some repairs. The bed was not comfortable and the bathroom floor sloped probably 2 inches from foundation settling. The view of the harbor and the bridge was great. The walking path nearby was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful. The only suggestion would be to relocate the pigeons that are roosting under the decks on the first floor. It sounds like they are in the walls and it is kind of creepy. They also coo non stop until it gets dark.
