Inviting cottage in good location to explore the island and the nature reserve Gråøya.



In rural surroundings, close to the Oslofjord, this vacation home welcomes you and your family with a homey touch. Light and dark wood combined with a mix of styles create a friendly, warm and above all cozy atmosphere. Conjure up treats together in the kitchen while your kids challenge each other in the board games you brought along. Step out onto the open terrace in the morning, cup of coffee in hand, and breathe in the fresh air.



The house is located on the wooded Hurumlandet peninsula and the area offers plenty of excursion options. Go hiking in the Tofteskogen nature reserve. Tofteskogen offers a beautiful and exciting nature experience with its varied forests and landscapes, with hilly terrain in places. Stikkvannskollen is a great viewpoint. There are many lakes to explore on the peninsula and we also recommend a visit to the Holtnes Valley nature reserve and a hike up Haraldsberg. If you fancy a bit of city life, head to Drammen and Oslo. One of the highlights of your vacation will certainly be the beautiful island of Gråøya, which attracts with beautiful protected nature.

Traumhafter Blick über den Oslofjord

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem wundervollen Haus verbracht. Durch den Schlüsselkasten war die Schlüsselübergabe ganz entspannt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war jedoch auch sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Das Haus liegt in einem Wohngebiet und dank des Carports hatte sogar das Auto ein Dach über dem Kopf.Tatsächlich war das Haus so wie es die Bilder online suggeriert haben - wirklich toll und zum Wohlfühlen. Im Haus haben sogar frische Blumen für eine wohlige Atmosphäre gesorgt und wir wurden mit leckerer Schokolade willkommen geheißen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf den Fjord war ein wahrer Traum. Bzgl. der Ausstattung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt.Um nach Oslo zu fahren, haben wir die Pendlerfähre von Vollen genutzt. Auf den Parkplätzen konnte man das Auto für eine überschaubare Parkgebühr abstellen. Morgens sind drei Fähren nach Oslo gefahren und am Nachmittag gab es drei Fähren zurück. Tickets gab es über die App. Für uns hat das super gepasst und von der Fähre aus bekommt man noch einmal einen ganz anderen Blick auf den Fjord.Sehr empfehlenswert ist außerdem ein Spaziergang in das "Bryggerhuset på Frøtvedt" - ein wunderbares Café am Rande von Åros auf einem Bauernhof. Das Café hat allerdings nur freitags und samstags geöffnet. Aber hier gibt es sehr leckere süße Teilchen und auch Brot.
