It's not often you stay at a hotel where the staff makes you feel so welcome and so appreciated. The Lodge at Flat Rock does that like no other place I've stayed before. You feel like you're visiting family, not a hotel. Personable staff that care, on top of a beautifully appointed and maintained establishment make The Lodge the place to stay when you're in Western North Carolina.

The moment we walked through the front door we said "Wow". The lady at the front desk was a joy and very helpful. Our room was ready and immaculate and very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. We sat by the fireplace in the evening and had a good time w some other guests. Breakfast was delicious. My wife and I started talking about our next visit.

Our room was lovely ... impressed with the cleanliness of everything. We were on the 3rd floor but the elevator would only go down to the 2nd floor so we had to walk down to the lobby. My husband is 83 and I'm 76 ... those stairs were tough for us.

We got the king suite and it did not disappoint for starters SUPER CLEAN rooms, staff was so sweet. Both crews we interacted with! My pup was so happy there’s ample grass and the pet friendliness is so amazing. This was an incredible hotel! Great service and super clean. Incredibly comfortable beds! The place is a real gem. I was skeptical because of all the perfect reviews but now I see why. It really was amazing!!
