property is undergoing some facelift from outside. bathrooms needs urgent renovation. Toilet made a very loud sound when flushed as if one is on a plane. The shower faucets were falling apart. room otherwise clean.

We stayed for three nights on a getaway to the biltmore and the national park. We wanted a reasonably priced hotel that didn’t have the ick factor. You know, where you feel gross just staying there. That’s becoming harder and harder to find, but this place did a great job. Our room was clean and serviced daily, and everything functioned as needed. And the breakfast was pretty decent compared to many of the free breakfast areas. I’d definitely stay here again.

Still a good value, but issue at this location

I think safety in the parking lot here is an issue here. I’m not comfortable in the lot here after dark and the situation is made much worse by the fact that management decided to cut off key card entry to the rear entrances after 7 PM. This is really a bad idea because the front parking lot often gets filled up later in the day so it’s usually after dark that guests have to resort to parking in the back… Then they can’t get in from the back and have to go all the way around to the front, with luggage etc in the dark and not visible. Doesn’t feel great. Otherwise, everything I love about Country Inn and Suites is still true here. Great value for the money, super clean and very well-equipped rooms, nice beds, towels, bedding etc. and a decent free breakfast.
