The hotel is just off the busy main street so very nice to get to the quiet beautiful grounds and pool. It is very green and tranquil. The hotel inside is clean and practical. It’s a business centre hotel so quite big with decor as expected not like a small cosy hotel. Breakfast was a mix of African food and pancakes, omelette, fruit and yogurt. It was convenient for us but you will need a tuk tuk or taxi to get into town, not sure there are any shops/cafes in walking distance. The bar outside is nice to relax in the gardens, the pool was a great place to spend time after a busy day. Staff all spoke very good English and were all very friendly.

We stayed at Tumaini Home Stay for a short visit during our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. Andy was an incredible host—his flawless English and warm personality made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to make our stay special, offering excellent local knowledge and being incredibly accommodating to our needs. Andy’s helpfulness and genuine care truly set this experience apart. Our only regret is not staying one night. We wholeheartedly recommend Tumaini Home Stay to anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming place to stay. Andy is not just a great host—he’s a great person. 100% recommend

The grounds and villas are lovely and it's obvious alot of thought has gone into the design. The restaurant area is a complete contrast to the ambiance of the villas. It is open concept and quite institutional looking and we felt we were eating at a cafeteria. There is noise from the surrounding neighbourhood (sounded like a disco/club), which was disappointing given the amazing views from this property. We ordered room service and had the breakfast. The veggie sandwich and soup were quite good but the burger had an overwhelming taste of whatever grain is used to bind ingrédients. Breakfast was mediocre and cafeteria style.
