Boho Mountain is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath ranch with a freshly finished basement that sits on a quiet and private country road in the heart of Nelson County -- Lovingston, Virginia. The home is perfect for weeklong family vacations for two large families or extended weekends for a larger groups of friends. It`s the perfect spot for girls` wine weekends! The home is clean and well-stocked with everything you need to getaway. Three king beds and six twin beds across five bedrooms.

With a newly finished basement, you have two living areas so the kids can comfortably hang out downstairs while the adults have upstairs. Downstairs the kids (and adults!) can enjoy a large sofa and TV, full size air hockey table, and three free standing retro arcade games (Marvel, Golden Tee, and Pac Man) in addition to the Infinity game table with digital versions of every classic board game you can think of! A dining, card or game table can sit 6 in the basement.

A large sectional sofa and dining space can both comfortably seat eight adults on on the main level with a side bar in the kitchen for an additional three people - looking out at the incredible mountain views.

We pride ourselves on providing a fully stocked kitchen for days and nights you want to cook and serve a large meal at home.

Outside you will find the large, heated pool (open April to October) with plenty of places to sit and enjoy three seasons per year. The pool can be heated for an additional fee based on the number of days/time of year (just ask for details!). Right next to the pool is a unique Cowboy Cauldron firepit with seating for 8 and wide-open mountain views. Walk out the basement door to the brick back patio with a 7 person hot tub (open year round) next to an 8 person outdoor dining table.

The home boasts five bedrooms and three full baths across the two stories:
Main level has a King primary bedroom with ensuite full bath, a room with two twin bunk beds, and a third king bedroom at the front of the home. Finally there is a hall-accessible full bath on the main level.

The lower level has a smaller bedroom with two twin beds and a massive bedroom with a king bed and ensuite full bath. If you have babies in cribs or little ones on a trundle, this massive bedroom is for you!

Speaking of kids, they will enjoy the pool house which is stocked with bocce ball, mini golf challenge, pool floats, corn hole, and other games. Kids and pets can enjoy the large, wide-open, green front and back yards on the three acre lot.

The house is designed with two large families, big groups of couples, and girlfriends in mind and is great for weeklong summer vacations, holiday gatherings, and long weekends in the fall and winter.

If you need to work, you can with a private work space / desk and high-speed fiber wifi internet which is hard to find in the country!

We do have a laundry area with full size washer and dryer for guest use. It`s just in the unfinished part of the basement so nothing too exciting to take pictures of! :)

The home sits just south of downtown Lovingston Virginia, commonly referred to as the Heart of Nelson.

Immediately across the street is the impressive and well-known Blue Mountain Barrel House brewery which also has a large restaurant and great menu. You can walk there from the house and enjoy the large patio outside to listen to a band and watch the incredible sunsets.

Just five minutes north on Route 29 you will find Food Lion, plenty of restaurants, gas, coffee shop, and shopping on Main Street. We recommend Vito`s (Italian/Pizza), El Mariachi (Mexican), and Lovingston Cafe.

Lovingston Winery is a 5 minute drive away and is our absolute favorite winery in the region. It`s family-owned, pet friendly, quiet and not overly commercial, with great views and relaxing environment with horses roaming about. 5 minutes past that you can find Wood Ridge Farm Brewery with amazing outdoor events. Mountain Cove Vineyards, Rebec Vineyards, and Lazy Days Winery within a very short drive. Finally, Virginia Distillery (local spirits) and Outback Brewhouse are also within 10 minutes.

Berry picking is open in the Spring and early Summer just 5 minutes away at Seaman`s Orchard.

For hiking in the area we recommend Crabtree Falls (great views and reasonable climb) or Blue Ridge Railway Trail or Blue Ridge Tunnel (family friendly and flat). There are a ton more options and we can send you the list.
