The veranda and patio on the beach side is indeed beautiful, and exactly as pictured. Ocean was rough when we were there, but that is of course no fault of the owner. Owner and manager Iza were very responsive and a pleasure to work with.The kitchen, while spacious, was not very well appointed. It lacked some basics that are necessary if you like to cook: there were no serving bowls, no ladle, ONE dishtowel provided, only one cutting board, one roll of paper towels, etc. It seemed stingy. At very minor expense it could improved significantly. Property manager would no doubt have responded to help us if we raised any of these issues, but they were too minor to raise individually. But collectively, a significant annoyance. We found the beds very comfortable, but A/C in one room wasn't working well. Lighting was a lot of flourescent bulbs, which could be improved. It was also a little offputting to need to pay an extra 100 to use the laundry machine. We understand the beach is hard on laundry machines, and that a water/electric bill are probably expensive, but given the cost of the place over a week it seems like is should simply be a cost of doing business. As others have said, it is not a quiet neighborhood (truly impressive stereo systems on some cars cruising by...). But that said, we actually came to really appreciate the location. It has character, and the people couldn't be nicer.
