THE ATMOSPHERE
This beautiful 2-bedroom house, completely renovated by a renowned architect, surrounded by 20 hectares of land and 5 hectares of woodland and forests, just 10 minutes from Biarritz, will delight both nature lovers and city dwellers wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
A long private driveway twists and turns its way over the green hills to take you to RETREAT, which greets you with a breathtaking view of the Basque mountains. An idyllic landscape between sea and mountains to relax and momentarily forget the real world...

THE VILLA
Renovated in an ultra-modern style, with a mix of wood, polished concrete and contemporary furniture, it will also appeal design enthusiasts. The fireplace, exposed beams, soft color tones and great natural light ensure a cozy atmosphere that will help you drift away from your daily concerns. A large modern, fully equipped kitchen with a central island opens onto the living/dining room. The beautiful wooden table seating up to 6 people, allows you to share good meals with family or friends.

THE BEDROOMS
The 2 bedrooms of RETREAT offer a splendid view of the mountains and surrounding agricultural land. The first bedroom is equipped with a double bed, a bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower and toilets. The second has twin beds and a bathroom with walk-in shower, and shares the hallway toilet.

HOW CONVENIENT
At RETREAT you will be able to enjoy a utility room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
At the entrance of the house, there is a second terrace and bowling area. It’s the perfect place to spend your afternoons in the sun!

WHAT WE LOVE
RETREAT is located on a private farm property close to the owner's large Basque house. From May 1st to September 30th, you can enjoy access to the pool (not heated and shared with the owners from next door) surrounded by a beautiful wooden terrace, where you will enjoy sipping a local fruit juice in absolute peace and quiet.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Only 2 km away, you will find the village of ARCANGUES, with its impressive church steeped in history, its quaint town hall and school, and of course the trinquet and fronton, where you can find players of the traditional Basque sport of pelote with its chistera - a handheld basket scoop glove.
Another 5 minutes away, you will find all the shops from the Biarritz Docks, with it’s local butcher, baker, cheese shop, wine cellar, etc. in a casual open-air market. The beaches of Biarritz and Bidart are only 10 minutes away as well as downtown Biarritz, with bars, restaurants and shops.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT CONDITIONS
Generally speaking travellers can check-in from 4PM-7PM and check-out from 8AM-10AM. Late check-ins can be arranged with our Concierges. For any check-ins or check-outs before 8am and after 7pm, an extra fee will be applied:
From 7 pm to 10 pm - €50
From 10 pm to Midnight - €80
From Midnight to 6 am - €120
From 6am to 8am - 80€
