2 Blocks. 440 steps to the sand, store, coffee /pizza shop and fine dining at Venus a new restaurant . Read the reviews, we work really hard to make you feel at home while we maintaining our property using professional cleaners, we love this home and location. 2023-Brand new appliances and flooring. Brand new leather recliner couches 2024. The home is settled in a super neighborhood with no real traffic as it sits in a Court. First level has two bedrooms (one king bed, with a large deck, one twin and one queen bed in the other bedroom downstairs) one bathroom, second level has Living room, dining room and kitchen. Master suite with master bathroom and huge closets. Master bathroom. 3 Decks, largest one is on the second level but a deck on each level. The main deck has a gas barbecue. New tile flooring in the bathrooms. Vaulted 20 ft. ceilings in living room. Custom furnishings and lights. Sit on the back deck to watch sunsets in late summer and fall. On a clear day you can hear the waves crashing. This beach home is near 70 wineries & tasting rooms. Fun for all! Wine Tasting, Coffee shop, fabulous Restaurant, general store, surfing, sunbathing and staying in a beautiful custom home for your comfort. This Beautiful Beach home includes outside shower. You will love this place and sleep like a baby on the super quiet court with no through traffic. Easily parks three cars off street.

What a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house has a relaxing balcony to hang out, nap, or have meals. Lots of space, well stocked, and quiet. The owner, David, is responsive and very accommodating. We recommend!

July summer visit in Rio del Mar

Everything was straight forward, easy access, WiFi was great, location to town and beach were convenient, the rental was clean, beautiful, comfortable and fully stocked with all necessities. The surrounding area had a nice coffee shop, a great little grill, a small market as well as scenic cliff trails to hike. David was easy to contact and stay in touch with when needed. We could have stayed there for months. Highly recommended!!

Peaceful Stay at Aptos

We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at this Aptos house. The rooms and entire home were very clean.The neighborhood was quiet and a three minute walk to the beach. It’s a short drive to Sta. Cruz. We would definitely consider booking this place again in the future.

Wonderful! House is spacious, clean, well-appointed, quiet, and a quick walk to the beach. We stayed with our family, and there is even a children’s play corner in the living room with nice toys. The three and six year olds loved them. Perfect beach house.

Excellent Location

We enjoyed our time at this house. As noted in other reviews, it is clean and the location is fantastic because the beach is so close. (note: this is not the Santa Cruz beach. It is south of there, but this is a less crowded location, which we preferred). We really enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the back patio of the house. The neighborhood is quiet and there are a couple of cute restaurants nearby. This may just be my sensitive nose, but the home had a bit of a lingering pet smell. The air movement from opening a window or two helped with that though. My recommendations for the owners is to include some basic beach items (mats/towels/bag), and to include more bath towels for guests to use. Also, the check-out information should be more organized in the packet of information provided (a checklist with all requirements rather than the info spread out through a couple paragraphs). I was worried that I would miss something because there were fees attached to forgetting each specific thing.

Beautiful home near beach

This home is quite nice - 3 bedrooms, adequately furnished and we had everything we needed. House doesn't have view of beach and is more than "steps away," but still pretty close to walk to. We liked the area - close to Monterey and Carmel. Only thing I would say needs to be improved is to get a new door lock! A regular lock with a code would seem to be much easier than having to send instructions by you tube. Also maybe just a list of what to do when you check out instead of all the monetary threats would have been nice - these are minor complaints - all in all I would recommend this house to others.

Family Coastal Vacation in a Great Home

Our family of six (3 generations ages 9 to 76) spent four nights in this beautiful home. The house has the space we needed and is configured in a way to provide both privacy and together time. Check-in was a breeze, the house was very clean and exactly as shown in the VRBO listing. The owner/agent was very helpful and accommodating. He sent detailed instructions for the door locks, check in and out, and care of the home. This was much appreciated. The house is on three levels and there are also stairs to the front door, so it is a consideration if there are mobility issues for any renters. Still, the rise on the stairs is gentle and did not present issues even for the oldest member of our party who has had a knee replacement. The area is beautiful. It is a short walk to the beach and a couple of restaurants. It's a short drive to other Aptos restaurants. We went to Monterey Bay Aquarium as well as to Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk. We walked on the Cliff trail in Santa Cruz. Altogether, it was a really nice getaway- and this rental was a perfect place for us to stay.

Golfing Getaway

How wonderful it was to be on the coast! The house is walking distance to the beach and a quick drive to Seascape golf! The layout of the house offered privacy for the 3 of us and the kitchen was quite well stocked with pots, pans, toaster, etc. to make meals. The neighborhood is tight and we did hear some partying but nothing that kept us up. Overall, it was a fabulous stay! Thank you David!

GREAT HOUSE

This is a wonderful house in a great location. Very spacious and stocked with anything you would need. Beautifully decorated with such a "homey" feel. The balconies throughout offer a peaceful place for coffee in the morning with privacy and space. Beautiful landscaping & the "fence" of tall bamboo is gorgeous off the large balcony from the main floor with plenty of seating, shade & a BBQ. Home is very clean and well maintained. Location is perfect for those wanting to adventure in any direction of the coast. Owners are amazing!!! Very attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had. Thank you guys for having my sister and I stay in your lovely home. BTW the mattresses are super comfy! Thanks you guys for caring about your guests.

Margaritaville

It has a great tropical feel with privacy. My family loved how comfortable the 3 level home was, with the kids having there own private area. We love walking five minutes to and from the beach and local restaurants it was very convenient. The Margaritaville sign inspired us to go there for our first night and was a lot of fun.

Birthday for Dad!

We found this amazing house while looking for a place to stay visiting family in CA and celebrating my dad's 75th birthday. We found the house extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our five days. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies along with a really nice gas grill that we used for dinner one night. The location is great with access to the beach, a coffee shop, a mini mart and a couple cool restaurants. The house is also very close to several shopping areas including a supermarket, drug store, liquor stores and many more. We will definitely consider returning on our next trip!
