I switched from another hotel that had a moldy smell and poor wifi, and I'm so glad I did. The welcome drinks were tasty, the bed was comfy, white sheets and clean towels, rooms are modern, hot water available for bathing and the wifi was good. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had great options. The hotel is in a walkable location, and service was excellent. Highly recommend!

The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, very walkable in the city, and wonderful staff! We booked a romantic dinner at the rooftop restaurant, and it was above and beyond. Wonderful stay overall!

Amazing and friendly staff. Very clean. Rooms a bit small but the king size beds seem bigger than normal and very comfortable. Great breakfast included. Roof terrace for dining as well with a fantastic view of the volcanoes.

The hotel was a comfortable stay overall. The staff were incredibly accommodating to any request we had and the food options were very good. The views from the restaurant up top are amazing and it is a good place to stay at overall. The only downside is that some of the rooms are a bit outdated so they sometimes smell, and the floors will have cracks in them. But as a whole, it was a pleasant experience.

El Carmen Hotel is centrally located to everything you would like to see in Antigua! The rooms are cozy, the A/C is strong and the staff truly care. Everyone is so friendly and hospitable. The views from the rooftop restaurant are stunning and the many options for breakfast are all absolutely delicious. So many options to choose from. My husband & I truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!

The hotel is very quaint and centrally located. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The complementary breakfast was delicious. They do offer free parking but it's 3 blocks away. I just parked on the street but you do need to pay, munipay, via there website. M-F its $10 but F-S its $20. Overal it's a good hotel. Would recommend.
