Several non-smoking guests inc me were shocked to learn we shared a floor with smokers - so our hallway smelled!! The hotel wasn’t crowded so mgt could easily have kept us on a non-smoking floor. The top floor (fourth) is split between smokers and non smokers. Arrived late to realize my TV didn’t function and it wasn’t fixed until after 9:30 a.m. the day I checked out. Mgt offered to have me move to another floor to avoid the smoke, but I had already unpacked. Still shocked that NJ even allows smoking at hotels! Is that because of gambling? Bed, linens were fine, plus plenty of towels. Loved the deep sink.

Very nice place and seemed clean and well maintained. They assigned us the wrong room type at check-in but the staff fixed the problem within a few minutes after I showed them the confirmation.

I was not happy with the check-in policy as I had to pay for the room twice. I had made a guaranteed reservation on 2/23 for check-out on 2/24. I arrived in the morning on 2/24 and was told that I was a "no show" even thought I had a guaranteed paid reservation. I had to make another reservation and was double-charged for the room.

Not much sleep

Stay was ok. Stayed 3 nights. First morning we are woken at 8am by the cleaning staff vacuuming the room right beside us, walls are very thin. We had the do not disturb on our door and we were DEFINITELY disturbed much earlier in the morning then expected. 2nd night music was blasted by the room next door until 4am and nothing was done about it, again thin walls so we didn’t sleep much. Breakfast has enough options and is good

We were very disappointed this time around. We were woken up by a fire alarm that went off at 5am after another patron decided to smoke in their non smoking room. Then to be woken up again by the staff vacuuming 2 hours later.

Fabulous near Frenchtown.
