We stayed 3 nights here this past week. The room could have been cleaner. The curtain for the window had red stains all over it. The bottom of the toilet and sink was not clean. The wallpaper was also coming off of the walls in the bathroom and smelled horrible. Beds were comfortable though. This hotel definitely needs love.

Hotel is old and has been remodeled-poorly. Furniture in the room was worn out. Bathroom was cleanish- lots of red build up on the grout in the shower. I let the water run for 15 minutes- no hot water. When I checked out I mentioned this to the desk attendant- she was aware of the issue, dismissed it and handed me the managers card. I will follow up, but, why would anyone get a hotel room if you can’t have a hot shower!!!

The hotel is old but adequate. The common areas and room were clean. Some things were a little beat up but still usable. My neighbors were watching tv and the volume was too loud but I was tired and fell asleep anyway. The free breakfast was nothing special but adequate. I didn't plan to go swimming and didn't come prepared but the pool did not look clean when I walked by and I wouldn't have gone swimming for that reason. The staff with whom I interacted were both very nice and personable. The best thing was that the water was HOT! and not just a trickle--no lukewarm shower here!

GREAT bargain in AA

The staff is GREAT (front desk, housekeeping, and bar), and the off-peak price is very good. The kid-friendly pool area can be quite noisy for solo travelers, but for others, it is clearly a huge bonus. Regardless, it ends at 10 p.m. The location is exceptional. The beds in the tower are very comfortable, and the rooms are clean. At times, I was surprised at guests' behavior in the common areas (bare feet on couches, shirtless, etc.), but that is not the hotel's fault.

Our stay was good. Location was very convenient. The staff were very friendly. It’s a little outdated. Our room was right by the highway, so the traffic was a bit loud. Our sink was very slowly draining the bathroom. There was only one working ice machine on the opposite side of the hotel. A good spread for the continental breakfast and you can’t beat the price. Will stay again.

The breakfast was decent and the staff was nice. The pool and jacuzzi were among the dirtiest and smelliest that I've ever encountered and the jacuzzi didn't work. I called in advance before I booked the room to ensure that it did, but the jets didn't work and it was disgusting inside. I will not stay at the Wyndham Garden Ann Arbor ever again. The wingate in Brighton was much nicer both room cleanliness and everything else. The floor was sticky in my room and so were the tops of the surfaces.
